INGLÉS

Hello friends who love architecture and design, I hope you are healthy and happy and have an excellent weekend with your loved ones, it is incredible how quickly the days advance, we are already in the second month of the year 2025, I particularly believe that the days go by quickly, as always it is a pleasure to share a new architectural design, we continue in the city of Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar state, on this occasion we are going to visit the Plaza Monumento CVG, the city of Puerto Ordaz as I have mentioned Previously, it is the headquarters of several basic companies that process mineral resources, the parent company of these operations is the CVG by its acronym, (it is called the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana), it is joined by other companies in charge of extracting and transporting the minerals and resources to complete the process in the production chain; The square is an important meeting place for family and friends in the evening and at night. It is located between Guayana and Churun Merú avenues. If you are visiting the city for the first time, this constitutes an important point of reference since next to it There is the stop that gives you access to the center, and there, you move around the different commercial establishments, restaurants and hotels, to return, if you use public transportation, you take the bus at the stops located in front of the shopping centers Altavista II and Orinokia.

During the Christmas season, the square is decorated with beautiful decorations and colorful lights. In the center of the square is the monument of the CVG company. The shape is a kind of cup and at the top are the letters of the company. CVG in gold color, the sculpture rests on a circular base and is in turn on a rectangular column where the names of some companies that make up this corporation are read, such as Alcasa Venalum, among others, around the sculpture there is a fountain gray in color and on each side white columns with beautiful and colorful lights, in the different spaces of the square you can see decorations such as stars, trees, bows, spheres, lights on the trees (palm trees) and a large sign “I love Ciudad Guayana”, it is the perfect space to take photos, at night you can see the different colors that the lights have on the columns around the sculpture, the tree and in each ornament, to access the sculpture you have stairs, walkways and a handrail of black iron, the sculpture is also surrounded and fenced with black bars, next to it we see the flag of Venezuela and at the bottom a double circular floor that is the base and also a fountain where the sculpture is located.

The plaza, in addition to its outstanding sculpture, has areas and attractions for children's fun, including a cute train where Santa is driving. The train cars are red and white, it also has white iron benches, these are decorated with a moon around and clouds, they are made of rebar and are white, they are widely used to take photos, there is also a red sphere that is also a tunnel, in addition to the train for children, they have inflatables and trampolines that ensure the fun of the little ones, the The floor is made of concrete with caico lines, at night you can see the different lights and the Merry Christmas sign, which during the day is white, transforms into a striking yellow color, the columns have white, blue, yellow and green lights

Throughout the land the square has several paths, at the main entrance of these there is a gift box with a small arch that gives you access to these beautiful corridors, the gift box is made of iron and has its numerous Christmas lights, during the tour along the paths you can see benches with a very peculiar shape, the base is rectangular and the sides have the shape of an inverted triangle, they are made of concrete and are painted gray, next to the benches are located several white posts, in the part Above these are the lamps, which are attached to the post by a black cylindrical tube. The lamp is circular in shape and the posts are decorated with red ribbons. Its base is rectangular.

At night the road is dressed in beautiful lights, we can see them in yellow, red and green; A characteristic element in the Christmas decorations of Puerto Ordaz and that I really liked are the colorful lights that adorn the plants, in this case the palm trees have their respective Christmas lights. Moving along the route we see paths that have a typical pattern, next to them of the posts there is also a small caico path, this consists of six lines of caico that demarcate the edges of the path, in another view the little tree can be seen very close to the central sculpture, part of the benches and the central platform of the square, whose walls are covered with terracotta.

A very particular element that caught my attention in the square was the fountains. I counted them and there were 16 of them. They are circular in shape and are distributed along the front and side of the square. To my pleasant surprise, all the fountains were working. , I was impressed by the number of fountains there are and their distribution on the land, perhaps they are part of the design or are a decorative element, in the afternoon I took a short tour in the company of my son, and at night we stayed for more time in the children's area, At this time the square is very busy and you can see families, children playing, running and sharing in the different spaces of the square, as well as tourists walking around the square and taking photographs.

Visiting the square was a nice experience that allowed me to get to know it up close. On previous occasions I had seen it but without detailing any of its elements. This time we had more time to walk around the square and observe its various spaces, unlike other squares. of the city, it has very few trees (mostly palm trees), so a visit to this square, if you want to sit or rest, should be done at night, since during the day the sun is harsh and there are not many areas with trees, in addition to the climate of the The city is warm, the night hours are ideal for exploring and getting to know the square.

Wow! I'm so impressed by the number of public squares Venezuela has invested in for her beloved citizens. As another dedicated space paying tribute to your country's natural resources, the Plaza Monumento CVG is a perfect example of an urban habitat that continuously sustains the relaxation and entertainment of people. I'm particularly drawn to the circular ponds also serving as dazzling fountains. They have an energetic vibe, inviting children and adults alike to bask in their playfulness. I appreciate your impressive photo collection featuring this fantastic environment in its daylight and nighttime splendor! Happy Sunday @belkyscabrera! ☺️

Hi @storiesoferne, Puerto Ordaz has several squares with nice designs, the CVG monument square, combines a great design and use of space with its wide walkways, the circular fountains are also my favorite, they look beautiful working and its strategic location in front and side of the sculpture, creates a nice visual effect that looks like a wall of protection, night and day views have their particular charm, in the first you appreciate the various lights and in the day the tour is fast due to the intensity of the sun.

Have a great week!
