31 Years of God's Faithfulness: Moving Forward

I celebrated my birthday yesterday, and every 14th of January is another moment to be grateful for God's overwhelming love and faithfulness for seeing me through a whole 365-day journey. In the last journey, there were lots of challenges, worries, negativities, tests of patience and faith and above all, thinking that things weren't aligning well for me, but amidst all of these, God has never stopped caring. His promise in Isaiah 41:13 to hold me in His right hand and help me has never been false. He has proven His everlasting promises and came through for me in the last 30 years of walking without a map to lead me through but trusting His guide and plans for my life.

I woke up at 12:30am, sang praises and prayed, thanking God for life and, most especially, good health, then professing the good things I want in this new journey. As I did that, I was surprised to get an alert from my siblings' friend. Well, they all teamed up together to be generous to me. I was speechless as I wasn't expecting that much.

Then, before the day, I'd made plans to share some refreshments with my neighbours and children in Church. Refreshments such as meat pies, drinks and biscuits; I grouped each item accordingly between the few adults and children. All I wanted to do was to make people happy with the things I shared to mark my birthday because I didn't want to celebrate alone but to tag others along.

In between that, I got gifts from @nkemakonam89, @vickoly and @olujay. I was surprised also, as I never expected that. There were lots of wishes, prayers, chanting, calls and everything, I was honoured and that alone made my day.

I would like to appreciate the beautiful people in the city of Neoxian, who made me so happy on my day. I opened my Discord and saw lots of tags from friends wishing me the happiest birthday. You all are so wonderful. The likes of @vickoly @olujay @justfavour @merit.ahama @hopestylist @b0s @abdul-qudus @aslamrer and everyone (I'm sorry, I don't want to keep tagging names) I am so grateful for your kindness towards me yesterday.

I was celebrated in church, too, and it was so amazing. My Reverend and his family wished and prayed for me. I was so happy to receive messages from them plus others.

Who am I without my family? Who am I without the amazing gift of siblings God gave to me? In fact, I would say this 31st birthday is the best of all years. Do you know why? This year, I got gifts of an iPhone, an Airpod and lovely items from my younger sister, my big sister paid my fee for a game that will be taking place in Lagos this week, and these gifts are truly special to my heart. My iPhone has been delivered in Lagos, and I will be getting that there. This is so exciting.

To crown it all, through the kindness of those who sent me financial gifts, God replenished what I gave out, and that left me extremely overjoyed, and I bless God for His blessings.

As I begin a new journey, I am ready for what is coming, and I believe there are good things God has planned and prepared for me. I am ready to embrace new lessons and triumphs. This year, I want to walk in a strong faith knowing God has got my back and He is always ready to help me whenever I call on Him.
