Drying Onions, Gardening, Drinking Coffee
The rainy season in my area is still continuing. It doesn't rain every day. There are some days with extreme heat. So, I have to be able to utilize the opportunity well. Today is a fairly sunny day with beautiful clouds in the sky.
I also decided to do some important activities for my garden. A sunny day should not be missed. Especially, when you focus on gardening activities. Abundant sunlight is a blessing to do many things.
I checked some plants that I had to fertilize. First, I fertilized the tomato plants. My tomatoes have borne fruit and the tomatoes have started to grow bigger. This is my schedule to fertilize them after a month ago I fertilized these tomato plants with manure.
For the activity of fertilizing my tomato plants, first I prepared manure and compost with a ratio of 1:1. Then, I mixed the organic fertilizers together.
Before fertilizing my tomato plants, I also loosened the area where the tomatoes were planted. Then I added organic fertilizer.
I hope that my tomato plants will have a maximum harvest with a low level of pest attacks. Because I use organic pesticides, I don't expect much if there are no pests. But that's the cycle in the garden.
At least there are pests but they are not that disturbing and I am very grateful for that. The most important thing is that I can still have a good harvest later.
After finishing fertilizing, I also watered my plants as usual. I consider my gardening activity as a fun and healthy physical activity. Usually I do this activity after breakfast. But sometimes before breakfast, adjusted again to my gardening hours.
I continued to take care of my shallots that I harvested a few days ago. Today because the weather is sunny, so I decided to dry the shallots in the sun. First, I cleaned the remaining soil on the shallots. Then I took plastic ropes to tie the shallots. I tied the shallot leaves together for several groups of hooks. Then, I dried the shallots on an iron clothesline.
Oh, it turns out that the shallots dried in the sun look very artistic and beautiful.
After doing gardening activities, I had some needs to go to the city center. I went to the city center during the day.
So, I also decided to take some 'Me Time' by drinking coffee at my favorite coffee shop.
Because it was a weekday, there weren't many visitors. I was happy with the coffee shop that wasn't so crowded. So, I could spend my time alone with my thoughts.
I ordered an Iced Caramel Macchiato. A cup of sweetness that I deserved after I was tired from gardening activities. Also, it felt like the right moment to cool my body after my body was exposed to extreme heat in the garden.
I also enjoyed some traditional cakes provided on the table. But, I have to watch what I eat. Don't let me eat too many cakes on this table because nothing is free. Lol.
I also work online while drinking coffee in this cozy coffee shop until the afternoon. Before I continue to garden again. Hopefully it doesn't rain.
After returning from the city center, it turned out that the day was still bright. So, I decided to continue gardening because there were some things I had to do and couldn't be postponed anymore.
There was a gardening activity this afternoon. I moved the broccoli shoots to be used as broccoli plant later. First, I prepared the planting medium to plant the broccoli shoots.
I used a mixture of soil, compost, and also burnt rice husks for the planting medium for the broccoli shoots. I hope these broccoli shoots can successfully grow roots.
I used this method before on cauliflower plants and it worked well. But this is the first time I have used this method for broccoli. Hopefully it will work too.
I didn't realize the day passed so quickly. When I was doing gardening activities, it was already dark. I have also finished moving these broccoli shoots in the planting medium.
A pretty fun day with my high productivity. I thank you for those of you who always take the time to read my blog especially about gardening and cooking. I hope you have a productive time and you have fun with what you do. ❤️☕☘️☘️☘️

Gardening is a good way to relieve stress in a stressful day. It is a good thing that you have something you like that you can do in a daily basis. Thank you for sharing this and I hope you have a great day
When I saw the tomatoes I was provoked to eat green tomatoes fried in sunflower oil, with a little bit of salt and in a bread with garlic and onion cream. it is very tasty.
I would like to know how is the preparation of what is wrapped in banana leaves, well I think they are banana leaves.

I think the rainy season in Indonesia is much longer than in my country Bangladesh, but I think that we have the longest monsoon due to Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan mountain range. It is a great time for your plants.
This is a good reminder to me to give fertilizer to my plants....Seriously, garden activity is a very good physical activity....and it is good to enjoy me time after it 😄
That seems to be pretty fun mbak, especially when we see the plant that we take care off finally bear some fruit. the shallot harvest looks so nice, and big.
my father used to just dried it in a shaded area, not directly under the sun.
Well, at 12 pm, I take out the shallot to indoor area. Not full day
Yeah, really fun to do all of that!
It’s incredible to see how gardening work can be so diverse, in so many ways. What you do is very good, @anggreklestari.
Gardening is a very good hobby and helps lower stress levels.
It is really nice to grow your own vegetables.
By the way I find the photo of the shallots drying under the sun quite interesting.

Ohooo, giving precious time to the garden, how thankful those plants are as they get to receive love and care. They will for sure, give a bountiful harvest later. Does that ginger cat helping you though? Hehe
you are my idol in blogging beautiful girl
You have to take advantage of any time it's not raining to complete tasks. The tomatoes grew huge; although green, they will be a lovely rosy color. I didn't realize the shallots needed to be dried. Whatever you're doing, keep it up because your vegetables grow to awesome sizes with the fertilizer and constant caring.
A good days work deserved a break. Good to be able to enjoy quiet time with your thoughts. Much planning and sorting out issues can be accomplished.
Thanks for sharing.
