The Best Decision I Made Last Year That Made My Year A Memorable One.

2022 was indeed a memorable one for me; it is a year I will never forget. I was introduced to hive in January 2021, but I felt it was a scam or another Ponzi scheme. In June 2021, I reluctantly agreed to be part of the hive platform. I made my introduction post and earned about $4. I was very happy about that, but as time went on, I got nothing; it was a discouragement, but I did not have anyone to tell me that consistency is key on the Hive platform.

I had no hive power, and the guy who introduced me to the platform had no hive power to spare because he was still struggling as well. I had to wait for about three days for my resource credit to recuperate. I continued to manage for about a month until I could no longer take it and I gave up.

Many newbies face the same challenges as I did; they give up just like I did and never return to the platform. Today, I am really grateful to God that I came back to the platform after months of being inactive.

Here is where my story changed. In January 2022, I came across a post from the MCGI community that had a WhatsApp link attached to it. I joined the group and pleaded for a delegation. The admin granted my request, and I was the happiest person on Earth that day. They delegated 10 HP to me, I became a member of their community, I joined their Zoom meetings online, and I made a post about what I learned from the meeting.

Slowly, I was able to navigate through the Hive platform. I started to understand how it worked, what communities I could post in, my niche, and what kind of posts I was good at. Things were not yet good, but a lot better than when I first started. I had a few friends that reblogged, voted, and commented on my posts. That alone made the newbie really happy.

Around February 2022, I met @merit.ahama, who told me about the newbies' initiative. I immediately applied and got a $20 vote, which was my highest vote ever. I immediately took screenshots and shared them with my contacts on WhatsApp, as my joy could not be contained.

The newbies initiative commenced, and I was one of the lucky newbies that were selected. Returning to the hive platform in January 2022 was the best decision I made in 2022. The decision really made my 2022 a memorable one, as I could cover a lot of my needs with my earnings from the platform. I hope for a better 2023 with the hive platform.
