Are Eggs Really Bad For You?
A lot of dieticians/food YouTubers who are mostly self-acclaimed doctors make a lot of money on YouTube talking about what to eat and what not to eat. Why? Diabetes and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) are mostly caused by eating or binge eating some of the most toxic foods for the body. However, a lot of them mostly overdo it.
For example, a YouTube dietician might upload a video about some type of food that people shouldn't eat, not because that food is actually bad but because they want to earn those sweet dollars you earn on YouTube by using clickbait in their titles to earn millions of views. For example "Eating eggs might cause you cancer" Now 80% of the people who would click to watch might know that the things said in the video aren't true, but they'll go ahead to click anyways because they'll mainly be curious and not because they believe in the video.
In reality, some of the things we eat are toxic, but when we eat them in moderation the body will tolerate them. But a little bit excessive and the body begins to react. The only thing that the body doesn't need even in moderation is alcohol. Now, the elephant in the room: eggs. Now it's been touted that plant proteins are better than animal protein, this isn't true, but then animal protein taken in moderation is a fantastic way to get the necessary vitamins and minerals that the boys need. Egg is animal protein, but it's always been proven that it's better than eating red meat.
It's surprising, but then there are people who have eaten at least two eggs for 50 years, and yet their liver and vitals are good and healthy. So, eggs are very good for the body, it's doesn't contain as much LDL cholesterol as it was always thought. The cholesterol in eggs is good, unlike the kind of cholesterol you'll find in fatty meat or shawarma for example. One of the things I've done is increase my intake of eggs and reduce my intake of meat.
In moderation, three pieces of medium-sized meat per day is okay, and something over that might cause liver disease and worsen kidney function if you already have kidney disease. So in the long run, binge eating red meat is bad for the body even if it isn't the same for eggs. Eggs have good cholesterol and eating it in moderation for decades will not harm the body.
However, we'd had YouTube dieticians who are going to are always going to post erroneous information about eggs, just because of the money they stand to earn from YouTube, afterall misinformation is always popular and sells well.
So in the pictures, I have a dish of yam and eggs, with tomatoes, onions, vegetable oil, rosemary, and ginger. It's not a difficult dish to prepare. Yam is native to Africa and rich in carbs and fiber. It's better to eat carbs with fiber because fiber makes carbs more usable for the body. Eggs are mainly protein and tomatoes and Ginger and great antioxidants, especially for the red blood cells.
What I tried to do is to also eat my yam in a porridge format with lots of vegetables. I still eat red meat but for a while now I have more goat meat instead, more eggs, and less beef (don't think I've eaten beef in weeks) I still maintain my consumption of eggs and eat them with tomato sauce or boiled with rice. What do you think of the pictures?

Hmmm. This matter
So the culprit here is not the egg usually. It is the oil and the way it was prepared.
. Eggs still has the best source of some proteins the body needs and aside the fact that I sell them, they are slowly becoming the main stay proteins in this Nigerian economy.
I believe so too. It's the misconception by dietician on YouTube that creates some jitters, and yes, eggs are good.
The key is just to consume whatever we consume in moderation. Too much of anything is bad. The pictures are nice.
Exactly, moderation

I like how you started by hitting hard on those 'oversabi' YouTubers. Their own is too much!
There was a time my conscience was fighting me because I was eating more than three eggs a week...and that was due to many sermon of such that I had listened to.🤣
Yes, those guys just want to make money, they're not after educating people, so they just rant and rant so they can get millions of views. Even 14 eggs per week is still good, no harm at all, it's still in moderation
But wait, what is the difference between red meat and goat meat? I am confused here, perhaps I should read more online. I guess it is red meat I have in my pot presently 😀😀 as I love eating meat more than anything 🙃 even when there is the side effects to it.
I have always heard that 2 eggs per day is still okay for the health but I was shocked to hear my pastor in church saying even 2 eggs daily is dangerous, perhaps for older people 🤔
In all, consuming in moderation is okay and we should be cautious too.
I love eating yam and egg and I feel like having those right now even when I am presently making one 🙃
Red meat is meat that appears red. Cow, goat and co. Meat that isn't red, chicken pork. But goat meat is healthier than beef (cow) which might be the worst type of meat.
Eggs are healthy, two eggs per day is more than okay, whether old or young. It doesn't do any damage to old people at all.
Yes. I love egg and yam, even though it's stressful for me.
Lol. I had to see this when I'm hungry.
It came out really nice, the food I mean. And I'm surprised to see you're the one that made it.
Looks like you'll be having a swell time with this one, Joe.
Yes, it came out really nice with the whole ingredient. Yes, we make some good dishes, sometimes it's just regular food, other times, it's special.
So, is this particular one a regular food or special food?
Most times I see those contents, I just ignore them. They exaggerate a lot and sometimes tell outright lies and back it up by saying "according to a research" it's annoying.
On the other hand, you are a great chef, have fun with the food ;)
They truly exaggerate a lot, I've seen a lot of them and I felt I was doomed because of the health issues I had. These guys just wants to make money
Its true that eggs do have high cholesterol percentage but it can be problematic for people having problems to control their cholesterol for any reason, three years go now when I change my diet to low carbs and high protein I eat more eggs than every mostly during breakfast, there is also a key factor in my case the eggs I consume are mostly directly from free range chickens raise naturally, I get those from an aunt in the countryside, every weekend sends us about 12, but every body reacts different
Thank you for sharing this important article about the diet modification for better health.
I try to fast as often as possible.
My plan is to achieve three meals per week
I have done a training for this style of regime, so I'm strictly following my plan to move from my current position one meal a day to three meal per week.
It is important to mention that I am very careful about the ingredient that compose my meal.
The foodstuff have various degree of positive effect on the body health. Therefore, I try to eat healthy event if it can cost me more money in certain situation.
Regards
One thing I know about Youtubers is the headline for their video. They make sure it evoke emotion might be fear, anger and curiousity like you used as your topic: so to get attention then dish out their informations to viewers.
Egg is a good and the protein found in it is better than in meat.
The clickbait is used to attract a variety of audience.
Believe content creators at your own risk. They love to add salt and pepper to things, lol

The food looks good and I agree that they blow things out of proportion. I think anything in moderation is good.
They do that to attract the views and popularity I guess.
I prefer eating eggs and chicken more than red meat, the latter often makes the body heavy or lazy from my experience. Eggs are not bad at all, especially when consumed in moderation.
I think the pictures look nice, especially the mixed bowl of ingredients, looks very appealing :)
Yeah, the ingredients were tomatoes and co, so I had it with yam. It's native to Nigeria and other African countries as well. I have reduced my red meat intake and increased my egg intake, especially for my health. You're right, moderation is key
Yes, indeed. I've tried Yam a few times, it isn't grown much over here but they're often available in the market. It's a strong food that keeps the stomach full for a long time.
One thing I know for sure is that these guys just want to make money, and funny enough they also eat these things behind the scene
That's true, they're content creators anyways
