Homemade Peanut Butter Recipe [Pictures and Video Tutorial]
Peanut butter is the right choice for those of you who don't like sweet jam. But unfortunately, the price of peanut butter on the market is not cheap. Usually, I would prefer butter for a spread of toast to save money.
Then I thought about making my own peanut butter at home. This is my first time making peanut butter. I feel happy because I did it!
I will share how to make peanut butter for you.
Ingredients
250 grams of peanuts
Optional: 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
Note: If you don't have a good blender, it will be difficult to smooth the peanuts. That's why you can add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil per 250 grams of peanuts.
How to make
- Step 1
If you have an oven, you can roast about 10-minute peanuts.
If you don't have an oven, you can fry the peanuts WITHOUT OIL for about 5-10 minutes while stirring to keep them from burning. Burnt peanuts will make peanut butter become bitter.
- Step 2
Let chill for a while then we can peel peanuts skin easily.
- Step 3
Begin to smooth the peanuts that have been peeled with a food processor or blender.
- Step 4
Make sure peanuts are smooth, they should not be as smooth as jam in general. Add sugar and coconut oil if desired and adapt to existing conditions.
- Step 5
Store in a jar or container then place it in the refrigerator, not the freezer, and can last more than 2 weeks.
Enjoy the peanut butter with toast, or you can add peanut butter for extra baking dough, and many more.

I should give this a try... have a peanutbutter, honey, cinnamon and tumeric wrap on the weekends after working out. Used to hate peanut as a kid... love it now.
Yeah you can combine with others like choco powder too :)

Too easy!!! And even with coconut oil, it's so healthy. I love peanut butter. It's not very expensive here. I'd like to make an almond butter.
In here, its difficult to find almond. I have to buy on online market 😊
Almond butter is great too der @riverflows
Funny, I made peanut butter myself - for the first time in my life - two days ago :>)
I peeled the peanuts ( did not roast them though ) and put them in a blender. Added some sea salt and almond oil ( or was it olive oil, not sure ), my body doesn't seem to like coconut oil and it wasn't in the recipe I followed.
The result was a little too salty, perhas because I added the sea salt after blending the peanuts, so I added a spoon of honey and some more ( blended ) peanuts, as well as some whole ones.
I'm liking the taste so far.
P.S. I also like to put peanut butter through some warm dishes, like rice with vegetables, couscous or risotto.
In Indonesia, we use peanuts to make sauce for salad. Just blend them as well and add some of onion and chili. :)
Being Dutch, my grand parents lived in Indonesia and Indonesian food has been very popular there for quite some time.
( Warm ) peanut sauce, especially with rice dishes, is an example of that. If I'd make it myself, I would usually melt peanut butter and add some sambal, ketjap and vinegar to it. Onion and chili sounds good too.
Thanks for the reminder!
Good Homemade Peanut Butter Recipe and I very like eat this food
