Good Core Creatures to Have in a Nature Deck in Gods Unchained

image.png

A Nature Deck focused on Aggro can be a great choice for any beginner due to its recovery with the God Power. With low-cost, high-impact cards, you can build an efficient deck without a huge investment. I'm going to share some cards that I consider essential and that I use a lot, especially for those starting out and looking for a quick, aggressive strategy. Let’s look at some of the best creature options (and one essential spell) that help speed up the game and keep pressure on your opponent from start to finish.

Remember, the cards presented here can also be quite effective in the Amazon archetype, as they bring benefits to creatures of this tribe.

First card in the deck: Canopy Sniper. With modest stats (1/3), it may seem fragile, but its ability makes up for it. Canopy Sniper has a passive ability that deals one random damage to an enemy creature every time a friendly Amazon attacks. Sounds minor? Trust me, when you pair it with a horde of cheap creatures, this Sniper’s ability starts to make a huge difference. Every attack by one of your Amazon creatures activates Canopy Sniper, dealing that little extra damage that can remove troublesome creatures from the opponent's field.

And here’s the trick: you don’t choose the target. But this can work in your favor, especially if you have multiple Amazon creatures on the board, multiplying the damage Canopy Sniper can unleash each turn. It’s all about embracing the chaos to your advantage.

Now, if you’re already building an Amazon creature base, Riverjumper Captain is a must-play. It’s a card with solid stats (1/4) and Ward, which provides temporary protection against enemy abilities and spells. That’s already a big benefit, but its ability goes further. When it enters the field, it activates a Roar effect, gaining +1 strength for each Amazon you already have on the board. In other words, the more Amazons on the field, the stronger the Captain becomes.

And as I mentioned at the start of this post:

“Remember, the cards presented here can also be quite effective in the Amazon archetype, as they bring benefits to creatures of this tribe.”

This effect is ideal for an Aggro Deck, where the idea is to have multiple small creatures that quickly grow in power. Riverjumper Captain not only absorbs some damage but also transforms into a growing threat. This type of card is perfect for keeping the opponent on the defensive, forcing tough decisions while you keep attacking.

Another card I recommend is Amazon Spearsoul. It has stats of 3/2, which means it hits hard but is a bit fragile. However, if you already have another Amazon on the field, it enters with a +1 health bonus, increasing to 3/3, which greatly improves its durability.

Moreover, it’s a great option for those plays where you need to take down an enemy creature and still maintain board presence. The fact that it gains an additional health point also makes the opponent think twice before ignoring it, as it may last a few more turns than expected and continue to be a nuisance.

Last but definitely not least, we have the spell WildFire. It’s one of those spells that can turn the game in your favor if used at the right moment. Its ability is quite useful on two fronts: first, it deals one damage to all enemy creatures, helping to clear the board of smaller threats. And second, it gives +1/+1 and regen +1 to all your Wild creatures.

If your Nature Deck is focused on Wild creatures rather than Amazons, WildFire becomes that essential boost, providing extra strength and resilience to your creatures. The regen +1 ability is excellent for keeping your creatures alive longer, especially in a deck that relies on maintaining constant pressure on the opponent. Each point of regeneration helps extend the life of your creatures, keeping up the pressure and forcing the opponent to deal with an endless field of threats.

Hi! Nice to see someone writing about Amazons! It would be nice though to see an analysis including the cards from the new set! 😉

This community is curated by OCD, which means quality posts get upvoted with nice extra rewards. But OCD has a policy of upvoting a maximum of 2 posts per author per rolling 7 days. This post would be the third to receive those extra upvotes by OCD in less than 7 days, so it is not eligible, unfortunately.

I recommend you pay attention and spread your publications a bit more so they never cross that 2-post limit and thus get a look by a curator for a possible nomination to receive OCD upvotes.

I didn't know about this OCD curation rule, so it's for all communities, isn't it? Thanks for letting me know. I hope that wasn't a problem. Have a nice day my friend

It's for all posts they upvote.

No problem at all, it's just you missed a nomination 😪

I think it's interesting to keep Wildfire with the Confused Wild set from the Nature Deck. Especially with that creature that keeps summoning Badgers, I forget the name now LOL.

Maybe you're talking about Beagle, who summons Badger and Eagle after his death
