[WE-215] Fun Memories of My High School Life: I'm Not the Studious Type, But Not the Rebellious Type Either, I'm Just A Kid Who's Trying To Survive

My high school life was full of fun memories, it has always been my favorite time of my life. I can say that my life as a high school student is lively and really enjoyable too, it just gets ugly and darker whenever I get home ( ꈍᴗꈍ). While some of my classmates were studying hard, I, on the other hand, was busy reading my pocketbook and playing around. I can't do these at home, so I just chose to have more fun at school. I love to hang out with my friends, and there are times that we use more of our free time to rant, share our struggles in life, and even talk about crushes and our dreams.

Because, you know, even though I want to focus on my studies at that time, the environment at home is not so good. I'd rather read more tagalog romance pocketbook to feel the happiness and hang out with my friends for a short time in peace. And even for a short time, just to escape my reality that I can't get home. It's like that time when our home is hell for me and school is my safe haven. I can smile widely while I'm always sad at home. I let myself be more vulnerable whenever I'm with friends, at least with them, I can be more open. Anyone will think that I love to study because I am always too eager to go to school, but the truth is, it is just an escape for me.

I don't do sports, but I love to play with my classmates. I play badminton, volleyball, and some Filipino games because it is really fun and a good way to divert my attention. That's also the time that I used more of my stamina. I don't bully anyone, but I misbehaved. I remember when I got called because I was too busy talking to my friend Ifer, who is also my seatmate. Because of that, our teacher separated me from that friend to avoid any more talking during her lesson time. I'm not proud of it, of course. I admit I am really a bad student too, you can call me lazy too.

I even read my pocketbook during the lesson time, and I was caught too. That was my biggest mistake, seriously. I got caught, the pocketbook was confiscated, and one of my "pabidang classmates" shared that story with my mom, and so I received a very passionate pinch from my mom, accompanied by a long nagging. And I hated home even more, I hated Mom, and I cursed that classmate of mine, who is, by the way, a priest now. I hated him, but that hate was long gone. I just forgot about it, and it's my fault anyway. If only I were more like him— studious and a very good kid.

But what I loved the most during that time, aside from those fun memories with my friends, was that I was good at socializing. I can make friends easily, I can talk to other people merrily, I am not that shy, and I was also thick-faced at that time or shameless (≧▽≦). Because I don't study, I just copied answers from some of my classmates. There are some that'll make me copy, but there are also some that would not. And I'm the one who'll get mad, though it's my fault that I can't answer some questions during exams. If only I studied more ಥ‿ಥ.

Omg! The more I share here, the more I'm shaming myself, no? That's really just my crazy days. Although I regretted what I did back then, I still really enjoy my high school life. And fortunately, I finish school without a hitch, but my grades are not that good ಥ‿ಥ. I got palakol grades, or a line of seven grades, but I didn't fail it, and that's what matters. Right? Ehe
