Weekend engagement 204: Non profit creativity.

Two years ago, my experience in Hive was a whirlwind of motivation, every day I published with great enthusiasm, driven by the financial reward that the platform offered me, however, this streak of good luck was as fleeting as its arrival, one day For another my luck faded and remuneration began to decline.

At first, I tried to combat this decline by varying my content and increasing traffic to my blog, but, in a totally ironic twist, the harder I tried to get noticed, the worse the results were, so eventually my activity dwindled until my blog was practically inactive.

After a long period of inactivity, I decided to return to Hive but this time with a different approach, now, the platform was my social network for relief, a space to share ideas and enjoy writing, the financial remuneration, if any, would be a welcome extra, but not my main motivation.

I have nothing to hide, you can check my profile, my posts don't get many votes. In fact, if in a month I manage to obtain 4 paid publications, I consider myself lucky, but this does not discourage me at all, my true satisfaction comes from sharing ideas, reflecting on the proposed topics and, above all, writing.

I am aware that my writing is not good, but I am passionate about the process of putting my thoughts into words and I try my best to do so. My account value is very low and my wallet is always empty, since the few dollars I get weekly from publishing content go almost exclusively to buy a couple of beers on the weekends. However, I am fine with it.

As long as someone is willing to read my content, I will continue publishing my posts for the 20 people who usually "like" my posts. I deeply appreciate the comments of those who really take the time to read what I write since unfortunately many only comment. for generating activity in their accounts, various and often meaningless comments.

If I wrote only for money, I would have abandoned Hive a long time ago, but my content does not seek votes or rewards, it is a hobby that allows me to unleash my creativity and connect with others, Hive is my refuge, my space to share ideas and enjoy the writing.

¡Thank you for reading!

¡Until next time!

When I started Hive my focus was always on hobby, there were also not those great rewards like before, but it is still a help at least for the beers, letting off steam and sharing ideas, just like you say, I am glad that you are still doing your best you and sharing your content with us, I invite you to the live healings on Discord that will help a lot to have more readers, friends who support you, votes and even better rewards. 🤘🏽😎 @derppunk

🤘🏽😎 @derppunk

Hello, greetings dear friend, thank you very much for the advice, I appreciate it very much with all my heart. Honestly, I am very good with my current activity on the platform😁, advertising in other media to increase my reach is not in my interests, much less spamming groups to get some traffic. If someone reads my content, I want them to do so because my publication appeared in their feed organically or because my content simply catches their attention. The people who comment and show that they really read my content without any type of influence are what motivates me to publish whenever I can 😅 greetings 😀🖖

@derppunk

As you wish, it is your decision and I respect it, in live healing we like to make friends and support each other, there is nothing to spanning groups 😆😆😆. It was what they taught us to do in hive classes from scratch, that is, create a community.

Each one with their tastes and colors as they say. @derppunk

I like your approach. Hive in addition to accumulating some cryptos, gives us a genuine space to share with people from other parts of the world, and that in my opinion is enriching.
Suerte!

You are right, in my case before hive I was deeply embarrassed to write or even chat about my personal topics no matter how superficial they were, now I do it in a more natural way and I love that, for me that is a great incentive to continue publishing 😊 greetings dear friend 🖖😀
