My Experience of Resignation at Work

Greetings friends of Hive and #weekendexperiences, today I am once again going to participate in the initiative promoted by @galenkp, where he presents us with several topics to select the one we like the most and express our experience and learn about that of other users.

On this occasion I am going to tell you a little about a work experience that I had, after I graduated from high school, I considered the options to study at a public university and I got a place for a career in agronomic engineering, but I did not study because At that time there was no work field and it was not feasible. That's why, since I was at home doing nothing, a friend got me a job in a private company that manufactures products for children and adults.

It should be noted that I worked the first three months at the plant, doing all kinds of work on the production lines, and since I had my Bachelor's degree, shortly after I was transferred to a deodorant container labeling department, where I learned to manage a packaging printing machine. The work environment was very pleasant, I worked different shifts, in some I had to work from 10 at night until 6 in the morning the next day.

Likewise, due to very good performance, they moved me to another department, which was called Mixing, which was where the chemical products were manufactured, such as deodorant, cream, powder, colognes, this was for me an improvement in terms of salary and where I received training to learn how to manufacture cosmetic products. This was a great experience for me that I really liked because every day we did different things from manufacturing the product to supplying it to the machine for packaging.

After three years, the company called Mennen was bought by a larger corporation called Colgate, and was moved to another city because where it was there there were problems with the water supply, so they contacted the workers to see if we wanted to continue working. But it turns out that it was with the same salary, and I had to pay for lodging and food to be able to work in the company, so I had to quit my job that I liked so much.

Despite this, some colleagues went to work with the new company and then quit because the salary was very low and they had many expenses. This is the first time I quit a job that I really liked.

I hope you liked my work experience from which I resigned.

Hello, it was a practically forced decision, perhaps for them the solution was to recruit personnel in the same city where they would move to and it is not easy. You had an excellent job, you learned a lot, but it had an abrupt and forced end. Regards.
