What I enjoy the most in the weekends - Weekend engagement (week 117)

Happy weekend Hivers! 🌟

I'm happy to participate in this weekend engagement and I love the topics @galenkp has brought to the table.

Currently I am living in Bali, although I'm not going to post about the international weekend but the first topic: One weekend photo and 250 words

I have to say that mornings for me is the time I enjoy the most in the day. Today before waking up I was already dreaming about going to my favourite place to have my cappuccino β˜•οΈ accompanied by a delicious croissant πŸ₯

There is this place in front of beach where I like to go. They have the croissant + coffee for 40 K IDR, which is more or less like 2,5 $. The name of the place is Sandbar. At nights is a party place, and since I am not a party person anymore I don't like coming here at nights.

In the mornings I like it a lot because I can enjoy my breakfast watching the ocean, the surfers and writing in my journal. If you come in the sunset is also nice because they have live music where a local band plays very good songs.

This morning when I arrived around 7:30 am there were a few people, but at 8 it was just me and another person. I asked if they had fresh croissants since yesterday I think it was from the day before...

I brought my iPad to continue also writing the book that I'm currently working on, but at the end I didn't do it. I regret this decision because when I was walking back to the guesthouse that I am staying now, it started raining heavily. It would have been nicer to stay there and do the writing watching the rain... but of course I didn't know this in advance. (I know you might think that it looked already cloudy in the picture, but here many times is cloudy and the suddenly sunny... you never know πŸ˜…)

To sum up, this is my favourite weekend experience: good breakfast with journaling accompanied by a relax atmosphere and nice views.

Thank you for reading. I hope that you are having a fantastic weekend πŸŒΉπŸ™βœ¨

I love cassava chips 😍 I have to say that I also enjoyed the rain. I found a shelter when it got too heavy and I liked to watch pouring over the rice fields πŸ™

Your profile name @capitanabeach also shows that you really love beach. Indeed, that was a relaxing place to enjoy and make something that needs a quiet place and good atmosphere.

i used to walk down to a little cafe at the end of a dirt road parallel to the beach, La Punta, (Puerto Escondido, Mexico) for a morning americano and vegan peanut butter brownie and watch the surfers pass by. Colourful times!
