What is an AMA?

what do you think we have to do in order to promote HBD out of our ecosystem?
I think one of the biggest things would be getting HBD on more exchanges with more liquidity.

I think attempts to get HBD listed are in progress, but it isn't easy and I am not sure any one specific person is dedicated on the task.

Do you think the 20% APR on HBD would be reduced if Hive dumps to $0.11 and HBD printing stops? 🤔
Hard to say, it isn't up to just one person. I also don't see Hive going down to $0.11. The next hard fork will raise the HBD print threshold considerably.

Since the dawn of time, any time I'd go to sign up for something and make an account, I'd enter my name, fill everything else out, hit send, and be rejected. "That name is already taken." I tried them all. CoolDude1, CoolDude2, CoolDude3, and so on. All taken. So, finally out of frustration, I tried to send these account makers a message. Nonameslefttouse. If there was more room I would've said I don't have time for this as well or at least add a question mark but instead, just to mess with me, they gave me this name. Which isn't a name. All the names were taken. The rest is history.
Hahaha.... I apologize on behalf of those who took all the names then.... But I do love this name of yours..... It's different... And it has an air of importance attached to it.... Not just any name.... But your name.... No one is dragging this one with you.
I like the name. Some people like to drag it through the mud but that's just because they like to get dirty.

That's insane really. I shouldn't be surprised though. Was that just on Steem or did it carry over to Hive as well?
Well they all have their accounts on Hive but a few things happened.
First I was removing Steemit delegations from abusers from the redeemer project.
Second all Steemit delegations are gone on Hive due their their Hive and Hive power going to DHF.
So while all their accounts are here they took advantage of free delegation they don’t have now.

So? Every hiver who's been around long enough has a Blurt account they can use if they want. I've earned there, but I tend to sell that. Just seems to be people complaining about Hive over there, but enjoy whatever you do.
That is fake news mate... No one is complaining about Hive over on Blurt, but they all hate the Markinators guts over there. That is actually quite understandable though, because he mobbed pretty much each and everyone of them off of Hive with his downvote sprees and his downvote circle buddies...
Funny how I see so many bitching about it then :) With those who do I often know why they got downvoted. Attacking the community is not good for your account and it tends to happen after they got caught out trying to game the system. I've always found Marky to be a good citizen of Hive, but he's entitled to react to personal attacks. Not much you can do about him posting on Blurt. It's not like he cares about the rewards.
And I can post anything I want here, I don't care about the rewards either... I don't care about his DVs either.. Marky is a total hypocrite. Everything he has done, i. e. getting paid out over on Blurt, would have been nuked here on Hive by the Markinator, if it had been somebody else, but Marky is more 'equal' than others here. 😉 His rules don't apply to himself... I just wrote a post about it...

I always wonder whether HIVE blockchain collapse some day, perhaps not technically, but dragging the price of HIVE down like LUNA.
No one knows the future, but it seems like Hive is making more improvements to protocol most chains.

Considering all the active (playable) games and a plethora of games in development on Hive, do you think, a rebranding for Hive as a gaming-hub would be advantageous for the next bull run?
Speaking of Hive-games. Do you play or invest in any of them? It'd be interesting to know. Especially for Rising Star, Splinterlands and the upcoming game WOO (Wrestling Organization Online).
I don't think a rebranding will happen, but there can be third party brands that act as hubs.
I do not play, but I have a significant investment in Splinterlands since launch, I just released a collaboration with Rising Star, I never heard of WOO.

WOO seems to be a professionally made project. They mirror splinterlands but with a wrestling management auto battler.

Any plan on some promising development on STEM ?
I hope to integrate the token to more future games.
Until usage picks up, there are no major plans. We have been burning 50-100%+ of the weekly reward pool.
What do you think about using the Hive blockchain (and YouTube) mainly as a personal storage, instead of focusing on creating content for an audience?
Recently I started doing this. This is why I ask this.
If it works for you, I can't see why not. I know a few have thought of doing this.

Thank you for the answer. YouTube is working great as a personal storage for many people since 2005. I have videos on it since 2008, and I have radioamateur videos on it since 2012. Some people upload multiple videos to it every day. It is a great platform to store and archive content (mostly videos). Hopefully the Hive blockchain will also work for many people for decades.
What was it about Hive that made you stay?

What do you think is the scariest game you've ever played on PC?
I think I'm just going to vote hbd stabilizer and burn posts for now on. I doubt he will stop, he has no reputation (he is universally hated), he has no projects, he isn't a witness, he doesn't post for votes so he has nothing to lose and it doesn't cost him anything.
I am thinking about powering down all my stake and move it to multiple anonymous accounts or just keeping it liquid. This is the only token I own that has caused this much drama and time. I have been powering up for 5 years now and I am one of the most benevolent voters and largest abuse fighter. He has made that something I can no longer do. It’s not really worth it for 10% apr.

I don't think the number of consensus witnesses will change.
Hive Punks was fun, my original plan was about 2-3 days but I added a lot of complexity turning it into a 2-3 week project.

Still trying to wrap my head around how easy/hard it is to spin something like this.
Not sure to be honest. There was a lot of pieces of it. I had to recreate something akin to nft showroom, create the backend to handle minting, and the generation code. I went beyond expectations trying to create “Real-time Rarity” but this was a waste of time as it sold so fast it didn’t matter and caused more work than needed. It was a cool experiment though.

It is of psychological nature... He is jealous of others being successful on the blockchain. He has mobbed so many accounts off of Hive, that they cannot be counted anymore. Little Marky was probably a playground bully, when he was a kid, repeating his behavioral patterns here on the blockchain with big stake... Instead of getting a life, he seeks the attention here... To cover the whole thing up, he will start telling you something about too much earnings, a 'milked' reward pool etc. blabla... The truth is: He himself milks the reward pool! To be clear: It is OK, when HE does it! Hey, after all... It's Marky... 😉
Yeah... I see he is earning 2k HP peer week with the curation rewards... I'm not sure if he is well-placed to lecture others... or criticize Justin Sun !

Downvotes affect rewards. Some may think that auto-generated posts don't deserve as much as they get. We all have a say in the rewards distribution and that can mean adjusting them downwards.
The least of the Markinator's downvotes were on auto-generated posts... 😉
Arcange changed how he posts to resolve the issue anyway. Marky has done a lot for Hive and I don't think he wants to wreck it, but he will act where necessary. I've always found him very reasonable. Have fun on Blurt.

I think that the problem isn't just a question of reward. It affects the reputation too...
It does, but it generally takes a lot of downvotes to significantly change that. You also need a higher rep to affect others. We need these tools to deal with abusers, but anyone is free to use them as they like.
Yes, but with his 80 rep he is clearly crushing people down. I understand that they are clear abusers, but attacking other witness (and not just) like that... I find it too coercive.

In my opinion I do not think these posts are needed. This has been going on for way too long.
I hope you do not mind, but it is hard to me to observe this drain on the reward pool on automated posts where many original contributors do not get enough.

Not sure I really have one, but if I had to choose maybe Maine. It's quite beautiful out there and peaceful.
Ah ok, I have never been to Maine though the amount of forest out there really makes me curious about living there.. But I think the winters are too extreme, as a Southerner I have not delt with much more than a foot of snow. Seems like Maine gets a lot more than that.. haha But if I could conquer my fear of living in a snow drift maybe it would be a cool place to be.

I have no idea, I didn't really know him. Most of the drama was from Steem I believe in SteemSpeak server but I didn't hang out there much. He started to harass me when I responded to a comment of his in the Pulse Discord. He claims to be so mentally ill he can't stand trial, but is well enough to know that thus throwing that out the window. He needs to be locked up somewhere he is a danger to himself and anyone near him.
