In this video I discuss where the AI hype is coming from. The fact that people do not see it in real world is leading to this conclusion. While I disagree with the sentiment, there is some validity to it since it is not seen in the open.

I think this is just a case of new technology. When the cellphone, computers, and internet were new, a lot of people treated it as a fad initially as well. But once it becomes massively available, and offers more features, then they will quickly turn their views around.
That is true. It was the case with the Internet. That was dismissed by many as a fad.
