2024 Peace Dollar Proof Coin
It's not a secret that I love the Peace Dollars. I started collecting them the day I started stacking. In fact, my first carry piece was a Peace Dollar.
In 2021, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Peace Dollar, the United States Mint produced commemorative Peace Dollars. I was just delighted!
They have since produced the 2023 Peace Dollar, the 2023 Reverse Proof Peace Dollar, and the 2024 Peace Dollar Uncirculated coin, and now the 2024 Peace Dollar Proof coin!
2024 Peace Dollar Proof Coin
It is truly a beautifully designed coin. It is Anthony de Francisci's most famous achievement. The Peace Dollar, created by Anthony De Francisci, was initially manufactured in December 1921.
The profile of Liberty is seen on the obverse (heads side), and she is wearing a brilliant crown. "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the year of issuance are inscribed on the reverse. A resting eagle holding an olive branch is shown on the reverse (tails) above the word "PEACE."
The Peace Dollar coin came with a Certificate of Authenticity. The coin is encapsulated and presented inside a black box from the United States Mint. The coin is struck at the San Francisco Mint, the mint mark appears on the reverse of coin (by the tail of the eagle).

The U.S. Mint ships all over the world...
Well i dont doubt about it! Never quotes there but at least from US bullion traders usually isnt very lets say easy to bring stuff to here. First the shipping … and pray for the cbsa to not tax it ( i am still waiting for one tax revision that they charged for 1 ounce of pure silver) ! I just pray for some local dealers to get some stuff across the border! Hehehe

I can't get enough of this perfect coin. I only have 9 circulated but original Peace dollars in my stack. So I thank my father for having the foresight to collect them before handing them down to me.

I've only added junk halves, dimes and quarters, Peace dollars are hard to come by as junk except for the higher priced Numismatic Peace and Morgan dollars. I got a nice Morgan but paid much more than I liked for the grade.
