Can a whole day go by without even a little break?
Yes, it can! The previous weeks have been hectic (but productive) so days can go by with little to no breaks! BUT -

What I saw today made me really happy! So please allow me to share that ...

It was 5 years ago when I made that first step and .. signed up on hive (then named steem)! It took me lots of courage, endless hours or reading and trying to figure out what this thing was and if I should join or not...

And finally, 11th of October 2017 - one click changed the route of my whole life!

Even though I would like to talk about how these 5 years have been, and to mention some of the people very dear to me, today this will not possible. Why? Because first of all, it is already very late. Second, this post will serve another cause. Third, and last ... it took me some days to write my first post - so that will be the date when I will write my 5 years thank you post :) So please be patient for my next celebration post and make sure you do not miss this one!

Well the easiest way to earn hbd is by creating quality posts that can earn you something even if it's not a a sure thing min doing this, you can save it up and earn 20%apr, you get returns for saving.

first of all congrats Katerina!!! That's quite the achievement and let's see what the coming years will bring to us!

Now for your giveaway question, i think something many people don't know is that by staking your Hive Power not only does your upvote worth more and therefore you will get better curation rewards but you also have an APR by simply staking.

It's not that much but you don't have to claim it or something and it's simply added per day if i think correctly on your HP. Thus, you may not really see it but it's there!.

Let's do some quick math. Someone that has 1000 HP will earn 28.4 Hive per year which is currently 14.2$ or around 1$ per month. It's not much, for some people it is but it's literally free money that keeps coming passively.

The most popular way to earn on hive is through content making and participating in contests like this one. But there are other ways like play 2 earn games.. Examples are Splinterland, Rising star and the rest.

Okay, back to your question, here are the ways I earn here on Hive:

  • mainly through post rewards
  • curation with my humble HP
  • delegation rewards (both on Hive and other 2nd layer tokens)
  • HBD savings
  • contests. I barely have time to join contests nowadays, but that's also a great way to earn.

The best way i have ever done that earn me hive is by creating quality content blog on hive. I post blog mostly based on the game i played which is Splinterlands and sometimes some other stuff that gives me interest to share to other people. By tagging SPT, LEOFINANCE, PROOFOFBRAIN and many other you will earn different tokens from community.
