Today I wanted to celebrate the achievement of my 2022 Hive Power goal for the year but now look ahead to 2023!

HP Goal Met Now 2023 Goals

In life, one of the most important things we can do with ourselves is to try and be goal setters. I've mentioned it many times before that I was never really a goal setter up until a couple years ago and I think the Hive ecosystem has really been able to drive that type of idea in me.

I have had goals in other parts of my life of course, professionally I started school with a goal in mind of coming out and having the career that I enjoyed, studied and worked hard for. That was one of the most important goals that I was able to achieve for sure but outside of that, I didn't really have a whole lot of concrete other goals. With the Hive ecosystem, I was able to set some rough goals for some of the things that I wanted to achieve on the platform as far as my stake goes!

I am now celebrating hitting my goal for the year 2022, with having a total of 25,000 Hive Power staked in my account! I may still fall short of the goal of 250 HBD in my savings account, only time will tell on that one but I may be able to achieve that in the next few weeks before the year ends! That part of my goal isn't as important for me as hitting my Hive Power goal though, so I can manage that one!

This goal has been an incredible one for me to achieve, one that I didn't think would be possible in the timeframe that I have had on here. I didn't really start making good progress towards this goal until I started posting once a day, every day for the last 2 years almost, going to be 2 years at the end of this month! I think that's pretty remarkable for me as well, as I've evolved myself in a lot of ways to be a little more dedicated and persistent at something that I find important and meaningful.

I was listening to a podcast today about something that I think I also need to get into the habit of: trying to look at the life I have now from the lens of the person that I was many years ago. I don't want to view the financial status I am at now and think that it's a relaxing position to be in because that brings out being lazy and there are enough lazy people in the world! I want to be a goal setter and getter, and I think in order to keep doing that we should have the right mindset for that type of stuff.

Thinking of that, I am not looking at the stake I have on the Hive platform as anything excellent or excessive. I know it's a good stake but it can and will continually get better with the drive and dedication that I am going to try to put forth in not only this but other avenues of life. That means I am going to be setting more goals for myself for the year 2023!

What are those goals, you may ask? I am going to try to be aggressive on this one! I don't know if it will be possible but that's perfectly fine, I can work towards these goals as strongly as I can!

• Minimal goal: 30,000 Hive Power

• Ideal goal: 32,000 Hive Power

• Optimistic goal: 35,000 Hive Power

• HBD goal: 500 HBD in savings

These numbers are ones that I think are somewhat achievable! I don't know if I can manage to hit the 35,000 Hive Power goal but that's the thing about goals and striving forward! If you don't have goals and strive towards them, then you won't be able to achieve them so I am going to shoot for the moon here! If I wanted to try and say 40,000 Hive Power was my goal I think I would be kidding myself, thinking that I could get there lol I don't think it would be at all possible but I certainly think that 35,000 is in the realm of possibility!

So as we round the year out, let's look towards next year and see what we can have for our Hive Power goals!
