The excitement of watching again a movie that you know is great was a moment that I had to relive a few nights ago, that I decided to revisit one of my favorite movies and one of the best I have ever seen and I am sure you will agree that it could be one of the best in history at the same time. There are so many things to talk about this movie that I will really address essentially what I like the most about it, because I could fill paragraphs and paragraphs talking about this movie although it would certainly be worth talking about it in depth, but anyway, today I want to share with you about Interstellar and reasons why I love this movie.
Certain natural phenomena affect the lives of farmers in the year 2067, among them NASA ex-pilot Joseph Cooper and his family, only that due to a series of anomalies his life would take a totally unexpected turn.
I have always been someone who loves the theme of space, the cosmos, beyond what we can see from the earth and of course what is visible from the common view when we look up, to see this movie for being the closest thing to what someone could see being up there, at least that's how I saw it when I saw it for the first time. That time I saw it I was attracted more than anything by the visual aspect of the film which needless to say is fascinating and enjoyable at all times of the film, however, I still had a lot to know about this film and unfortunately I had not fully understood the main objectives of this film until a few years later and a few nights ago to fully appreciate this film, it was at that moment that I saw Interstellar beyond space.
Seeing the big planets, stars and the moon itself from my house seems relaxing to me, imagine how I felt watching the movie hahaha, I felt very comfortable and I loved the movie at all times and every time I saw it and I use this expression precisely to move forward with my opinion. The word love is a very short word that in this movie is expressed very well how extensive it is, Dr. Brand lets us know that with his great dialogue at the time they leave the planet of great mountains that looked like waves, and it would not be until later in the movie that I saw what Dr. Brand was referring to it.
It is well known that Cooper left his whole life on earth behind for the future of humanity and his family mainly, being in a hurry in his mission because every minute counts, even when the signs of Murph's "ghost" indicated the opposite of what Cooper wanted to do. I want to emphasize this part precisely because of how absolutely incredible this part of the plot is due to the fact that everything that happened in the plot seemed to be set up so that it had to happen, good or bad, precisely Murphy's law taking effect (coincidentally the name of Cooper's daughter as you may know). The journey had many difficulties along the way, even more so being on Mann's planet, it was there that I asked myself the question "What if none of that had happened? For example, if they had visited Edmunds planet first, at the end it is implied that that planet was the right one for human life there but at the end Cooper would not have reached the tesseract and would not have given the signals to Murph, which at the end we also realize that the main character of this movie was not Joseph Cooper but Murph, so yes, everything that happened in the movie had to happen.
And the scene of the tesseract left me very surprised, because it is not only the moment in which we appreciate the pieces of the puzzle come together and give the final shape to the film, but it fits perfectly with what Dr. Brand said about love, it transcends to other dimensions and is the only thing we can communicate with without even being there. The most beautiful scene of the film in my opinion, apart from the reunion of Murph and his father of course, which is not far behind with the theme of love.
I love this movie, and I wanted to share precisely this topical of it because I find it very nice, it was something I wanted to share. If you haven't seen this movie I highly recommend it, even if you are not a fan of this kind of movies believe me you will like it, it's just beautiful in every way. La emoción de ver de nuevo una película que sabes que es grandiosa fue un momento que me toco volver a vivir unas noches atrás, que decidí visitar de nuevo una de mis películas favoritas y de las mejores que he visto y que seguro estarás de acuerdo con que pueda ser una de las mejores de la historia a su vez. Tantas cosas de las que se puede hablar de esta película que realmente abordare esencialmente lo que mas me gusta de la misma, porque podría llenar párrafos y párrafos hablando sobre esta película aunque sin duda valdría la pena hablar de esto a profundidad, pero en fin, hoy quiero compartirles acerca de Interstellar y razones por las cuales amo esa película.
Ciertos fenómenos naturales afectan a la vida de los granjeros en el año 2067, entre ellos el expiloto de la NASA Joseph Cooper y su familia, solo que por una serie de anomalías su vida daría un giro totalmente inesperado.
Siempre he sido alguien al cual le encanta el tema del espacio, el cosmos, mas allá de lo que podemos ver desde la tierra y por supuesto lo visible desde la vista común cuando alzamos la mirada arriba, ver esta película por ser lo mas cercano a lo que alguien podría ver estando allá arriba, al menos así lo veía yo cuando la vi por primera vez. Aquella vez que la vi me atrajo mas que todo el aspecto visual de la película el cual sobra decir que es fascinante y disfrutable en todo momento de la película, sin embargo, todavía me quedaba mucho por saber de ese filme y lastimosamente no había entendido del todo los objetivos principales de esta película sino hasta unos años después y hace unas noches para apreciar por completo esa película, fue en ese momento que vi mas allá del espacio de Interstellar.
Ver a los grandes planetas, estrellas y a la misma luna desde mi casa me parece relajante, imagínense tan solo como me sentí al ver la película jajaja, me sentía muy cómodo y le agarre amor a la película en todo momento y en todas las ocasiones que la vi y hago uso de esta expresión precisamente para avanzar con mi opinión. La palabra amor es una palabra muy corta que en esta película se expresa muy bien lo extensa que es, la Dra. Brand nos hace saber eso con su grandioso dialogo al momento que abandonan el planeta de grandes montañas que parecían olas, y no seria sino hasta mas adelante en la película que vi a lo que se refería la Dra. Brand con ello.
Se sabe bien que Cooper dejo toda su vida en la tierra atrás para el futuro de la humanidad y su familia principalmente, teniendo prisa en su misión porque cada minuto cuenta, incluso cuando las señales del "fantasma" de Murph indicaban todo lo contrario a lo que Cooper quería hacer. Quiero hacer énfasis en esta parte precisamente por lo absolutamente increíble que es esta parte de la trama debido a que todo lo que pasaba en la trama, parecía estar calzado para que tuviera que pasar, sea malo o bueno, precisamente la ley de Murphy haciendo efecto (casualmente el nombre de la hija de Cooper como sabrán). El viaje tuvo muchas dificultades en el camino, mas aun estando en el planeta de Mann, fue allí que me hice la pregunta ¿Y que pasaba si nada de eso hubiera pasado? Pongo de ejemplo, si hubiesen visitado el planeta de Edmunds primero, al final se da a entender que ese planeta era el indicado para la vida humana allí pero al final Cooper no habría llegado al teseracto y no habría dado las señales a Murph, que al final también nos damos cuenta que le principal de esta película no era Joseph Cooper sino Murph, por tanto si, todo lo que paso en la película tenia que pasar.
Y es que la escena del teseracto me dejo muy sorprendido, pues no solo es el momento en el que apreciamos las piezas del rompecabezas reunirse y dar la forma final a la película, sino que calza perfecto con lo dicho por la Dra. Brand acerca del amor, trasciende a otras dimensiones y es con lo único que podemos comunicarnos sin siquiera estar allí. La escena mas hermosa de la película a mi parecer, aparte del reencuentro de Murph y su padre por supuesto, que no se queda atrás con el tema del amor.
Amo esta película, y quise compartir precisamente este tópico de la misma porque me parece muy agradable, era algo que queria compartir. Si no has visto esta película te la recomiendo por completo, incluso si no eres fan de este tipo de películas créeme que te va a gustar, es simplemente hermosa en todos los sentidos. I entirely forgot the plot of this movie. I think I am going to watch it again.
