Swift The Pretend Guitarist

It is said that when you are in school, you tend to see several people with different behaviours, characters, mindsets, etc.
Well, I found some funny coursemates on Saturday at school, let me tell you the story of how I came about them.
Every Saturday was always a day I knew I had to stay back in school because of the high cost of transportation fare, we all know that the country isn't smiling at anyone, so one has to be mindful of his or her spending, on this Saturday I decided to move around with some of my coursemates after the end of class, normally I would be with my sister around her class area, but she said she had to be around some of her classmates as she had some things to discuss with them concerning one of their courses. which left me in the surroundings of my coursemates.

We all left our class to go sit in one of the cafeterias at the food village, this was a place where many food vendors sold different food items and I must say that it was at a very high price.
We sat at the cafeteria some other students were already there, some were eating, others were talking amongst themselves, and some were busy on their phones, I joined those on their phones because I needed some quietness around me, well that didn't happen as few minutes later there was a commotion right beside my seat.

As I raised my head to see what was going on, there I saw a guy, his name was Swift, he usually sat beside me in class, that was how I was able to recognize him, he was also the course rep for the course EED (entrepreneurship development), he was carrying a guitar around his neck, though I knew he was a musician because he usually posted his videos on our class WhatsApp group platform, I didn't think he was also a guitarist, in my mind I was already thinking of how cool he was, and so was the girl beside me saying, she was already complimenting him on how cool he was and also she requested he played her a song, she even went ahead to pick a foreign song.

Hmm... Little did we know we were being deceived, he sat down right beside her like he was really going to play the guitar, she asked him to sing along as he played, which made him ask her to start the song as he was warming up, this girl started the sing and a lot of us in the cafeteria kept quiet to listen, the girl started and we were waiting for swift to join in with his voice and guitar, we sat watched with keen interest, and swift strucked the strings and played rubbish on it, he stood up and continued playing the rubbish he was doing and then everyone was just looking as we thought he could actually play it, the girl stopped singing and was just looking at him as if he lost his head, and that was how the rest of us were looking at him, until he burst out laughing about the looks on our face, he said he was only pranking us, just then his friend who was holding his phone out took joined him in laughing, it was then that we all realised that he actually didn't play the guitar and it wasn't even his, we were just being pranked and we were being recorded the whole time.

The girl who had requested he sang then asked who owned the guitar, he pointed at a guy at the back of the cafeteria, while everyone laughed at her for taking him seriously, we also laughed at ourselves for believing him, he was only a fake guitarist.

He wasn't even one, he was only pretending to be one, though we later had a good time listening to the real guitarists as the girl had gone to meet him and had asked him to play a song for her, one song became many songs later as other girls and guys had their own request, after about two hours later we were all ready to go to sleep, those who were supposed to buy food bought some and I also did and that was the end of the music.

But that didn't stop us from talking about how silly swift the pretend Guitarists were.
