Hagia Sophia In Pakistan| Solo Trip
Turkey always remain in my tour list. I crave to visit all the historical places and spots in turkey. Also, I want to take a delightful sip of Turkish tea along with having Turkish cuisine. Here In Pakistan, We do watch many turkish drama serials. Those drama series actually increased the yearning of visiting turkey.
In 10th standard, We had a complete chapter about Blue Mosque(Hagia Sophia Masjid) in Istanbul,Turkey. While reading the text, I used to visualize my journey there.
I was not aware that this particular dream can come true so early. I was scrolling on tik tok where i found out that there is also a "Hagia Sophia Masjid In Pakistan". I was amazed to know that it's imitation of Hagia Sophia. This particular masterpiece is located in Park View City of Islamabad.
From many days, I was planning my tour to this Mosque because i wanted to take a delightful sight of this blue architecture. I am die hard fan of architecture that's why i always make haphazard plans to visit geometrical architecture. As a student, I have rough and tough budget. I mean i am not having sufficient budget otherwise i am eager to have a world tour.
Well, let me narrate my visit's experience. Luckily, I was alone over there. I went alone with my free and random thoughts. When I was dropped by a taxi driver, I saw so many flowers over there. This is commercial and expensive area of Islamabad. Actually, It is housing society in Islamabad. This particular area is very much expensive that a person like me cannot even think to spend life over there.
I stood infront of the Masjid and witnessed the front iconic view of blue domes and high minarets. It is necessary to be clean before entering the Masjid. Male and female ablution area was directed through a sign board.Male ablution area was on right side. I went to ablution area and washed my hands, face and feet.
Firstly, I was assuming that they might allow people to go inside. Surprisingly, It was open for all. Many visitors were there to see the Masjid.
I stepped up to see the Masjid. I was expecting too much from this masjid. Actually, the frame of reference in my mind were old Mughal and Persian architecture. I have visited many other Mosques which are adorned with difficult, intricate and geometrical architectural patterns.
The entrance was so simple and there were just three welcoming wooden doors. These wooden doors are arched shape which were giving vibe of old architecture.
I took two rounds in the gallery and captured click of high minaret from the arched window. I titled my eyes to see the height of minaret.
At the time of entering the main area, my expectations were also very high. I took off my shoes and set them in the shoe rack outside. After taking off my shoes, I walked in.
Once i entered, I realized that it might be too early to expect anything because the masjid is still into construction phase. The development of masjid is in process. Artists were busy in shaping the dome. I was looking at the workers who were decorating the dome. The workers were standing on the rooftop.
The interior of Masjid is just white. There are so much work to be done. Chandeliers have to be hanged inside. These Chandeliers will shine like stars and moon in the night. Artists have to show the magic of skill. That’s why there is so much work to done. It's not done yet. I wanted to feel more experience of my journey that's why i offered a prayer over there. After praying offer, I looked out through the wide and long windows.
I went out and walked towards the back side of the Masjid. A guard was looking at me and i was waiting for the right moment to escape from his eyes. I was prentending that i am a nieve person. As soon as he flipped his eyes to other side, I walked to the back side of Masjid.
On the back side of Masjid, there was a grass ground. From the condition of the grass, i guessed that grass patched are recently installed here.
I sat on the grass but sunlight was giving me hard time. It was causing me to blink my eyes swiftly and fastly. I was hoping for the sunset so that i can calmly sit over there. Sun was a distraction at that time. Same sun becomes peace in the evening.
Wooden stairs can be seen around the dome as the work for the refinement of the dome and structure was going on.
I tried my level best to take a picture with my back camera but it was showing me all dark as sun was not lighting me up. Also there was no one who can take my picture with the masjid. I missed my friends for a moment but then i let all these thoughts to go away. Finally, I took a selfie with blue domes of the masjid.
Although the mosque is not that much grand, vast and supreme as the real one still it gives the vibe of it. I really like to appreciate the minds who thought to imitate the iconic Hagia Sophia Masjid. By the way, real name of masjid is Jamia Masjid Al Rahman.
I covered the 360° round of the masjid. Once i completed my round, I came to initial spot. My eyes were looking for someone who could take my picture with this masjid. No one... yeahhhh, I found someone. He is a security guard. I requested him to take my one photo.
As usual, It was time to go. I have plan to visit this Mosque in nearby future. I will visit this Mosque once it will be completed and fully embellished.
While, I was heading back i made a call to my friends and showed them the Masjid. They were surprised and pranked a while. Then i revealed the location. They will also plan their trip to Masjid.

Sorry, I came into the comment section without reading the post and just scrolling the pictures. I don't think words are needed to describe these images. These pictures describe the beauty of this masjid very well.
When I saw the full picture of this masjid, my eyes stayed here for a few moments and felt the urge to visit it. This masjid is not yet fully constructed but it's very clean. I hope you remember me next time you visit this masjid and you don't have to ask a guard to take your picture.
When I saw the Masjid, I was also stunned for a while. It's gonna be an architectural marvel in Islamabad. Thank you so much for stopping by ❤️.
And then people say that TikTok is not useful. Lol.

I only watched one Turkish soap opera in my life and Chanel, my dog, sang every day at 3pm when it started.
Yes, many times tik tok is useful for me. You know you are watching me from the beginning of my journey. Although we have occasional hello hi but still you understand me.
Hug 🫂 🤗
