Hallo liebe Community,
es ist Zeit ein Fazit zu ziehen. Nach 2 Wochen und 1.500 Kilometern haben wir unseren Roadtrip durch Kalifornien beendet. Wir starteten in San Francisco, führen zum Yosemite Nationalpark und wieder zurück an die Küste. Von Monterey aus ging es über Morrow Beach und Pismo Beach den Highway Nr. 1 entlang nach Santa Barbara, Santa Monica und zum Abschluss hinein nach Los Angeles.

Wir haben viele Erinnerungen sammeln können, die uns ein Leben lang bleiben werden. Gerade für meinen großen Sohn, war es vermutlich der letzte große Urlaub mit uns und ich bin sehr froh das nochmal mit Ihm erlebt zu haben, bevor er nun seine eigenen Wege gehen wird.

Ich kann überhaupt nicht sagen was mir am besten gefallen hat, weil einfach alles herrlich und atemberaubend war. Angefangen in San Francisco mit Alcatraz, Fishermans Wharf, den cable cars über unsere Fahrt zum Yosemite Nationalpark mit seiner unglaublichen Natur und dann an der Küste entlang. Durch wunderschöne Hafenstädte bis hin in die pulsierende Metropole Los Angeles.

Eine Reise, die ich jedem sehr empfehlen kann! Als Titelbild dieses Posts habe ich den Blick aus dem Flugzeug auf unserem Rückflug gewählt. Immer der aufgehenden Sonne voraus zurück nach good old Germany. Der Flug war zwar auf Grund der Dauer wieder eine Tortur aber mit etwas flüssiger Unterstützung wie Ihr unten sehen könnt, war es ganz erträglich.

Ich freue mich schon auf unseren nächsten Trip von dem ich Euch berichten kann. Wir haben gestern bereits die Zugfahrt gebucht und los gehts am 03.08. also nicht mehr lange hin. Soviel kann ich schon verraten, es geht auf 2 Rädern in den Süden Deutschlands. Lasst Euch überraschen.

Hello dear community,
it's time to draw a conclusion. After 2 weeks and 1,500 kilometers we finished our road trip through California. We started in San Francisco, lead to Yosemite National Park and back to the coast. From Monterey we went via Morrow Beach and Pismo Beach along Highway No. 1 to Santa Barbara, Santa Monica and finally into Los Angeles.

We were able to collect many memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. Especially for my big son, it was probably the last big vacation with us and I am very happy to have experienced it again with him before he will go his own way now.

I can't say what I liked the most, because everything was wonderful and breathtaking. Starting in San Francisco with Alcatraz, Fishermans Wharf, the cable cars, our trip to Yosemite National Park with its incredible nature and then along the coast. Through beautiful port cities to the vibrant metropolis of Los Angeles.

A trip that I highly recommend to everyone! As the cover photo of this post I have chosen the view from the plane on our return flight. Always ahead of the rising sun back to good old Germany. The flight was due to the duration again an ordeal but with some liquid support as you can see below, it was quite bearable.

I am already looking forward to our next trip from which I can tell you. We have already booked the train ride yesterday and it starts on 03.08. so not long to go. So much I can already betray, it goes on 2 wheels in the south of Germany. Let us surprise you.
