Greetings, traveling friends, I wish you an excellent weekend with your loved ones. I am happy to share my visit to a beautiful town in the state of Sucre located in the mountainous area of Turimiquire. It is called Cedeño and has the particularity of having a beautiful landscape and two rivers that run through the entire front of the town; the Manzanares and Cedeño rivers, the town is located several kilometers from the city of Cumaná (on the Cumaná - Cumanacoa national highway), you can reach this beautiful destination by public transportation, leaving from the Cumaná terminal and in approximately one hour you are already in this cute and charming town where you can enjoy contact with nature and bathe in the refreshing waters of the aforementioned rivers.

These rivers have the particularity of converging at a point in the town and forming a beautiful torrent that runs several kilometers from different towns. They can be easily distinguished by the color of the waters, the Cedeño River coming from the mountainside and moving further slower than the Manzanares, which comes from the upper part of the mountain and its route extends to the city of Cumaná, passing through its economic center.

Saludos amigos viajeros les deseo un excelente fin de semana en unión de sus seres queridos, me siento feliz de compartir mi visita a un hermoso pueblo del estado Sucre ubicado en la zona montañosa del Turimiquire, se llama Cedeño y tiene la particularidad de contar con un hermoso paisaje y dos ríos que pasan por todo el frente del pueblo; los ríos Manzanares y Cedeño, el pueblo se ubica a varios kilómetros de la ciudad de Cumaná (en la carretera nacional Cumaná - Cumanacoa), puedes llegar a este hermoso destino en transporte público, saliendo desde el terminal de Cumaná y en aproximadamente una ya estás en este lindo y encantador pueblo donde puedes disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza y bañarte en las refrescantes aguas de los ríos mencionados.

Estos ríos tienen la particularidad de converger en un punto del pueblo y formar un hermoso torrente que recorre varios kilómetros de diferentes pueblos, se pueden distinguir fácilmente por el color de las aguas, el río Cedeño proveniente de la ladera de la montaña y se desplaza más lento que el Manzanares, el cual proviene de la parte alta de la montaña y su recorrido se extiende hasta la ciudad de Cumaná, pasando por el centro económico de esta.

It was a fun walk with family and friends that both children and adults enjoyed to the fullest. Since we arrived, the children and young people went to the river to take a dip, the sun was intense and nothing better than a swim in these cold waters to combat the stifling heat; The inhabitants of this beautiful town are very friendly and hospitable, they are dedicated to agricultural activities, they cultivate various crops such as; pineapple, yucca, banana, avocado, among others, they also make a delicious and fresh casabe perfect to accompany soups or meals on the river.

In addition to bathing in the river and preparing delicious food, we took a short tour of the town and saw several farmers bringing their products down from the mountain on donkeys. What surprised me about these animals was their ability to cross the river and avoid the amount of stones there are in it, in fact this was the funniest part of the walk and at the same time exhausting, moving between the stones was a little difficult because they are slippery and if you walk too fast you can fall, you have to move slowly and firm, passing between the stones was quite an adventure but it was worth it, being on the other side of the river I felt happy to cross it without falling, after resting a little, in the company of friends we returned to the town exhausted and enjoyed a delicious lunch.

Fue un divertido paseo con familiares y amigos que disfrutamos al máximo tanto los niños como los adultos, desde que llegamos los niños y jóvenes se fueron al río a darse un chapuzón, el sol estaba intenso y nada mejor que un baño en estas frías aguas para combatir el sofocante calor; los habitantes de este hermoso pueblo son muy amables y hospitalarios, se dedican a las actividades agrícolas, cultivan varios rubros como; piña, yuca, plátano aguacate, entre otros, también elaboran un delicioso y fresco casabe perfecto para acompañar las sopas o comidas en el río.

Además de bañarnos en el río y preparar deliciosa comida, hicimos un pequeño recorrido por el pueblo y vimos a varios agricultores bajando sus productos cultivos desde la montaña en burro, lo que me sorprendió de estos animales fue su habilidad para cruzar el río y esquivar la cantidad de piedras que hay en él, de hecho esta fue la parte más graciosa del paseo y a la vez agotadora, para movilizarnos entre las piedras fue un poco difícil pues son resbaladizas y si caminas muy rápido te puedes caer, hay que avanzar con paso lento y firme, pasar entre las piedras fue toda una aventura pero valió la pena, al estar del otro lado del río me sentí feliz por cruzarlo sin caerme, luego de descansar un poco, en compañía de los amigos volvimos al pueblo exhaustos y disfrutamos un delicioso almuerzo.

Enjoy contact with nature, it is an excellent plan to recharge energy and get away from the daily routines and dynamism of the city, I liked this town and its beautiful view of the mountains, the landscape is beautiful and the best thing is the river with cold water, perfect to beat the heat and spend a different day in the company of family and friends.

Disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza, es un excelente plan para recargar energía y salir un poco de las rutinas diarias y dinamismo de la ciudad, me gustó este pueblo y su linda vista de la montaña, el paisaje es hermoso y lo mejor es el río con agua fría, perfecta para combatir el calor y pasar un día diferente en compañía de familiares y amigos.
