How to advance in terms of technology?
Technology is continuously growing. There is a new invention happening around the world every single day. Not every invention reaches the common man, but several discoveries and inventions do, and they also make their lives easier. It is always good to embrace new technology and appreciate technological advancements.
Students should be taught about technologies in their schools
Schools are the best place for students to learn quickly. As the students' focus is on learning, schools are the best place to teach about emerging technologies. Students should be provided with various opportunities to be excited about new technologies and explore them.
I think practical experiences are great compared to theoretical learning. I still remember how my teacher explained buoyancy when she was teaching us Archimedes principle. I would say that maybe that was the reason why I still remember that principle without any problem.
Users should start adopting new technologies
Learning about new technologies should not be stopped. Individuals who are excited about technology should start exploring the technology. For example, I'm very much interested in knowing about some latest advancements in solar panels. All that I have to do is understand more and try to invest some money to adopt the technology to fully benefit from that.
Innovations should happen in the latest technologies
We know that technological advancements are good but not all the technological advancements reach their full potential. For example, we have batteries which is a great invention for mankind. Today many things are possible in this world with the help of batteries. There is no doubt about that. The problem with batteries is that we have not advanced much concerning technology. We are even unable to reduce the size of battery and have a high capacity small-size battery. This is one field that is still undergoing research world and needs more innovations.
Patents should not be a barrier to not using a particular technology that was invented
If someone invents something and patents it, nobody else can make use of the technology unless the same person creates a product out of it or provides necessary permissions. I see this as a big drawback with patents. I have heard about many companies that hold patents for many great products. They are waiting for the best opportunities in the market to release their patents out. If they release their patents during a normal time, it may not provide any advantage to them.
Overall I think technology is something that can keep changing now and then but we have to be very careful in embracing technology. Ultimately it shouldn't make us lazy. If we are able to contribute something for a technological advancement then we should be doing that.

You have good points, we should make more practical stuff in the school, there's just theory now... And indeed patents should be handled differently
Exactly my point of view, rather than focus on the theoritical aspect of education, life practical should be put in place, we learn quickly by images we see not what we read

You raise a valid point about the balance between innovation and accessibility; patents can stifle progress if not managed responsibly. Embracing technology should empower us, not hinder collaboration.
Technology is driven by economy and greed. And I think there is a balance. I an event where there is a technology that exists which can cause disruption to an industry or the whole economy, it's fair to say company would oppose and try to scrap it for good.
I think there was a term for it phoebus cartel. It exists to this day in different form. They are answer to all the problems in this post. Sorry, let me phrase it better "They are the problems raised in the post".
Practicals helps students to know the real thing that they are into. It gives them the full picture of how the thing works
It helps them because seeing is believing
