She had to endure disgraceful things from a man who lacked discipline
Everything is her fault no matter how the table turns
Everyone sees her as an object to toy with to catch their fancy
If when she's decently dressed, it's still her fault for being beautiful
Even when she wore what she was comfortable with
It's still her fault for dressing to entice the prey
When are we going to talk about the predator?
It's his natural instinct to prey on a defenceless lady because he's a man?
But we don't use the same energy to understand the right to choose of the lady?
The system has failed us and we have failed as humans
It's okay to be careful but when did we ever get to this point?
Where we have to accuse the offended and praise the perpetrator?
The predator is praised for being manly but the lady is chastised for being girly.
Double standards from a failed system are what led us here
A lack of humanity and empathy is what is ruining us as humans
I can't understand it and won't understand it as long as it continues
We are raising our girls to become better people, yeah?
But if we don't raise our boys to become better too
No matter how much we invested and teach in the girls, the cycle would continue
Because we are raising queens for monsters that haven't been tamed
