Dailyprompt|| Slow Week
Where are the customers and why is market so dry like this? I asked myself a rhetorically question sitting in my own discomfort and in despair.
What is happening where are everyone since we entered this week I haven't made any good sales even last week was even better because I sold out plenty of goods.
And even our supplier was shocked because I had to call him over and over again on the phone in other to bring in more goods.
Though with optimism I thought that this week won't be any different but here we are and I am asking myself what is this, and what is going on? Why is my goods not selling? What is wrong with this week?
The rain isn't raining at all because of it was I would have said that it is as a result of the rain that is why customers aren't coming but this one I'm not even seeing a single rain drop all day but what is going on?
My son in school keeps calling me asking for text book money and other school dues that needs to be paid and as it is now I'm in no position of being able to send him any cash because business isn't moving at all and I hate disappointing my son.
What a slow and cursed week it is, a week filled with disappointment, no business and no customers, a week that has brought hunger to my household a week that took smile out of my face.
But nothing can I do because when business isn't moving I won't have to go and force people to come and patronise me, rather I will just have to wait patiently in optimism that they will come.
