Tourism on a Cruise Ship

Sometimes when we work, we also need to plan for our entertainment, rest and recreation probably by travelling,hiking, embarking on tourism or having the best meal and drinks at a lovely location.

Here is a photo of some company workers who were about to embark on a tourism journey to relief themselves off work stress. but an information passed across prevented them for the main time.

As regards the image, here is what I see

I see people who are about to get on board a cruise ship for tourism reasons but it seems they are stranded because of a sensitive information having to do with lives on board.

What I feel

I felt probably there has been an information passed across that made people to hang around which I may likely present the fact that its an important information.

A story about what is going on

Some group of tech enthusiast decided a better option for themselves after spending hours in front of thier screens handling client jobs.

They decided it is essential to have some fun by going on tourism to compensate for their time. They rented a cruise ship and a sailor for thier journey. people from all branches in various countries came along too.

On getting to the location where the cruise ship was parked they realized that information passed accrosed indicated the ship will not be moving anytime soon due to emergency inspection.

Before the time they were informed that someone came onboard the ship with a time bomb. Immediately the detectives found that, they got him arrested.

Before they begin the journey, extra checks needed to be made on the ship inorder to ensure lives and properties on board.

Reasons been that the suspect had initially been on board but took permission to go get something outside and he was sighted on camera detection system that he wouldn't return anytime soon yet he didn't cancel his trip. He was heading back home.

The security officials were bothered and had to pick him immediately he left the main gate. He was asked reasons for leaving but couldn't state a concrete reason. He was then taken to the ship and told to identify his seating position which he did, a thorough check was carried out in that area of the ship, they discovered he planted time bomb below passengers seat, expected to detonate in the middle of the sea.

He was arrested immediately and sent to prison. but the security operatives on board were conscious about the other people inside and wouldn't want to announce something of such because we humans manages emotions differently. Someone might hear such story and experience panic which may lead to heart attack.

They managed the situation by informing those who were yet to get onboard hold on outside. whilst a thorough inspection is carried out on the ship. You know there are more than three stairs and hence needed more hands on deck to complete the inspection on time or else they experience delay for more hours.

But from what I am seeing, they may end up going for the trip the next day.

Here are life lessons to learn;

At all times when you are about to get started on a journey, be it a flight, train or ship. Security is essential to protect people and even yourself. It is advisable for one to observe his closest sorrounding and neighborhood for any suspicious activity on going.

Why I am making reference to this is the 9/11 attack on a plane. If passengers were early conscious enough of what is going on beside them, their plane wouldn't have been hijacked by terrorist.

Although we have security systems and officers in place, they are humans like us and when the humanism factor comes in, they may not notice when something suspicious is about to happen.

So we are our security and hence conciousness of our environment must first be our priority not only on trips but anywhere we find ourselves.
