Hello friends, how's your new week going? Mine is going pretty well, I got beat by rain tonight and for some reason I liked it😁 I spent my day finishing this piece for the splinterlands art contest. For this week, I chose an epic card in the life unit, Prismologist.

Hola amigos, ¿cómo va vuestra nueva semana? La mía va bastante bien, hoy me ha pegado la lluvia y por alguna razón me ha gustado😁 Me he pasado el día terminando esta pieza para el splinterlands art contest. Para esta semana, elegí una carta épica en la unidad de vida, Prismólogo.

Prismologists are spellcasters who use their own custom built prisms as their source of magic, they bring them to the battlefield to manipulate magic and defend themselves. I chose this card because I wanted to draw prisms and I love her outfit...

Los prismólogos son hechiceros que utilizan sus propios prismas como fuente de magia y los llevan al campo de batalla para manipular la magia y defenderse. Elegí esta carta porque quería dibujar prismas y me encanta su atuendo...

Process

Proceso

I started with a very cool sketch after I got the pose I wanted , once the idea was down I went ahead to paint her skin, clothes and hair. I already knew the colours I wanted for everything, I then added lighter and darker highlights to her skin which is one of my favourite thing when drawing. I painted her facial features added more details to her dress and hair, painted her armour and the prisms, I really enjoyed painting the prisms. I focused more on the character and didn't want to do too much with the background. I love it, I hope you do too....

Empecé con un boceto después de conseguir la pose que quería, una vez que la idea estaba clara seguí adelante para pintar su piel, ropa y pelo. Ya tenía claros los colores que quería para todo, después añadí reflejos más claros y más oscuros a su piel, que es una de mis partes favoritas a la hora de dibujar. Pinté sus rasgos faciales, añadí más detalles a su vestido y su pelo, pinté su armadura y los prismas. Me centré más en el personaje y no quise hacer demasiado con el fondo. Me encanta, espero que a vosotros también
