Drybone Barbarian | SPT W-322 Splinterlands Art Contest, Digital Art

Hello, how are you all hive friends?

Hopefully all hive friends are fine, and always given blessings in this life 😊

This is the 97th post since I joined the weekly art contest held by @Splinterlands, here I draw the Drybone Barbarian character from the Splinterlands Drybone Barbarian card game.

I chose this character because it looks cool with a muscular gray body and lots of scratches all over his body and with a spiked iron stick weapon.

This fanart work is fun after a few days of my break from drawing, because I was bored with it.

But this work slightly revives the pleasure of drawing again.

For coloring, using the same full-color American comic style with semi-realism colors.

To create this character, I used Gpen thick and thin line art.

This time I don't have a target because joining the @splinterlands character drawing competition is already really cool in my opinion, and congratulations to the top 3 winners and other winners πŸ₯°πŸ˜˜πŸ•ΊπŸ‘‘πŸ‘πŸ’ƒπŸ₯³

And also thank you to my friends in the Hive community, curators, and other artists who have always supported me in my work so far.

I made this work in 5.5 hours with 2 hours of line sketching and 3.5 hours of coloring and effects.

Yeah I noticed your inactivity lately. I actually checked your account to see if you posted something new last day. I can totally relate to the block sometimes. Whenever we push it the outcome just looks bad haha. It was super smart to take some rest.

Badass work by the way. I really love how you paint the wooden armour. That plus your lineart work on the wood really makes it more beleivable.

Yes, I took a few days off from drawing, because I didn't have the enthusiasm to draw... like I was too tired ha.ha. If I force myself to draw, the results won't be satisfactory... Yes, thank you friend, yes the way I give texture is with line art because with color I'm not an expert there ha ha..

Your illustration is really great, the pose the character has is very intimidating when making his attack.

Thank you my friend, I made this pose after seeing the attack style of the battle beast from the Amazon Prime series Invisible😁
