Wise look ❤️ Amonet (EN-ES)
The Owl reflects a wide vision of what is not visible to the naked eye and in all directions.
Lo he hecho.
I have painted many birds, especially when I was studying painting. I have painted herons, owls, sparrows, hens with their chicks, a lot of different birds.
But first of all I leave you with the music I listened to while I was painting.
It has its particularity in the look and in the feathers, and everyone has their own style of painting the latter. It also depends on the materials we have at the time.
This also reminds me of when I used to teach painting, in my classes to elderly people. They would tell me that they wanted to sell them a special brush for painting feathers, and I would reply that if you know how to paint, you can paint with any brush, that's where the real art lies. There are even people who paint with their fingers. I have done it.
I love owls, actually the most noticeable physical difference is the feathers on top, some of them have them and others don't.
I am very fond of white owls, some people attribute negative things to them, like that they foretell death and so on. However, I see them as one of the wisest birds in existence.
They can rotate their heads in all directions so they can see a lot, too much. Their eyesight is very good and whoever has this animal as a totem, is attributed with the power of being a seer. Well, you know me, I say crazy things or maybe not so crazy.
The truth is that together with the panther and the horse it is one of my animals. Yes it is and its look is enigmatic for me.

Today again I bring you a painting made by my hands, I feel a lot of joy, exciting joy when painting. The technique used is oil on board.
What is the challenge of painting birds? The feathers and their shading.
To start the drawing I made lines on the board mainly because I wanted to paint an owl in symmetry and I have to make sure that the eyes are equidistant from the rest of the body and that both halves are as symmetrical as possible.
Mark the centre of the head and then draw the eyes and the central part of the bird's face. Always trying to make both halves as equal as possible.
I don't draw the background directly, as it is not the central axis of the painting.
As for the feathers, I gave free rein to my hand, feathers here and there, I only wanted to maintain symmetry in the head.
I decorated the lower part of the painting with some flowers.

As for the colours I wanted it to be an owl from another world, as he connects worlds, so I chose colours that are complementary, again I found myself choosing blue and orange, and green for the background. Of course black and white, which as I learned, are not colours, they are light and absence of light, they are always permanent protagonists.
For the background I imagined a forest where the owl lives and with three shades of green plus black and soft I achieved what I was looking for, but without a very defined shape of the trees.
I didn't paint the whole background, but only the one that in layers of depth is behind the bird, always painting the background first and the closest to it last.
Then I continued with the head, I was taught to paint from top to bottom so as not to stain our hands or arms.
But the eyes are a very important part, so this would give the life I needed to look at while painting. I continued with them and so the whole face. With each feather the brush did a particular dance, there are no fixed shapes.

Amonet.
Mixing the colours was a challenge, first I put the blue talo, then the orange, from that mix you have to be careful, as mixing complementary colours generates brown. A touch of black here and there and as I always say the white for the end giving the necessary life and light.
Then I continued with the chest of the bird first highlighting the background of the feathers with black, then blue and orange and finally white.
Finally I finished with the background but that is in front of the owl, it seems to me to be teaching my students, when I write and what I was telling them. I remember them fondly.
I really liked the final result with that bright white standing out among the colours. The light always shines.
The owl symbolises wisdom, vision and alertness.
Thank you all very much for joining me in this my second painting for Hive. I send you a big greeting, see you soon.
Amonet.

It happened to me with this painting that when I saw it I thought that you had included the black color at the end of painting but it happened to be included almost at the beginning, you are really great at what you do because giving realism to the feathers is an art that only those who know how to do it can achieve.
Thank you so much!!😃
You are welcome, saludos

The feathers look fantastic and appear to have motion. I like that you focused in the detail to give them depth.
I've always painted like this, it fascinates me! Thank you very much! 💗💗💗
What????
Muchas, muchas gracias!! Me encanta hacer cuadros al óleo, gracias!💗💗💗
Beautiful work, I love the color palette you used. Bravo!
Thank you very very much!!! 💗💗💗
These mysterious owls that I just love!
And me! I love them! Thank you so much!😃
What a beauty of an owl, it is beautiful and with impeccable technique, love every detail, but that look, you can see deep inside those black and shining eyes 😍
The owl is so elegant, wise and curious, I want to hang this painting in my house, I had already told you that I would definitely buy one of your paintings (and I think it would be this one hehe) 🦉❤️❤️
Good morning @avdesing
What a beautiful work, I love owls, I would love to see one in person
What a beautiful work, the colors you have used are very striking
Thank you very much for sharing your talent
Have a beautiful afternoon
I love them too and every time I go to the forest I hope to see one, thank you very much! 🤗🤗
I see a calm Owl, I like this style of art, in fact I would like to try someday because I already draw but I have never liked to use colors so I leave everything to graphite pencil and that's it haha, well you know, you've already seen some of my drawings 😃. Now regardless of the above, if all goes well with the halvin etc, I want to do a style of these because it looks spectacular and I know the effort it takes to sit down and get inspired to draw.... I miss my blackboard haha because it's a different style of drawing but with marker, I never expected it to be so different.
Spectacular painting, this and the previous one is this same comment adding that I want to see how you paint a Panda but what I would really like is that if it encourages you to do a panda, that you do it with my Personality hahaha 😂 see if you can transmit the attractive charm of my being through painting reflecting how you see me 😃
I love painting and I enjoy it very much even if each painting takes me more than 6 hours... but the time flies by! Yes, I should organise myself better and paint little by little. We will see the theme of the panda.... I have already thought of a surrealist painting, you know I like the eyes!
I have been inspired first by my power animals plus people's requests hahaha still missing the panther, medusas.... I would do a panda giving orders! hahaha

Catching up. I had seen it but the situation did not allow me to comment. It's beautiful. I loved it.
Thank you very much!!!💗💗💗
Magnificent, @avdesing. The colors are wonderful and the owl looks very expressive. I almost got the feeling that it was watching me - that it had chosen me as its prey.
Great work, it's obvious how much you enjoy painting.
I like to paint too much and especially looks, and everything that has to do with nature. Thank you very much for this beautiful comment and the gift!💗
