Too Many Losing Heroines

This summer anime season had some lovely shows which came from numerous genres.
Now normally I'm not a picky eater, but I do have my preferences and some things that I'd never expect to like or watch.
One of those things, is RomCom.

Too Many Losing Heroines

Plot

Regular High School Boy Kazuhiko Nukumizu is happy with his lonely background mob character in school, content with being unnoticed and not trying to stand out, until he witnessed Anna Yanami, a more popular classmate of his, get dumped by her childhood friend.
He felt he had to try and comfort Yanami and that decision brings him into the light and makes him more entangled with other girls who has faced defeat at love.

To be perfectly honest, if someone were to ask me why I started this anime. I'd have no valid answer.
The last week of September and I was wondering how boring the week would be with the other regular anime's having finished.
In my site for downloading anime episodes, out of sheer coincidence, I came across an episode of the show and what sold me at first was the art style.

It's a rather generic to easy to digest average story, but the art style makes it more iconic and memorable
The use of colours for the scenes and to help portray some characters emotions was splendidly done.
It remains in my mind until now, the animators did a fantastic job.

The comedy is one that extremely supported the plot.
I love comedy, good comedy in an anime or show.
One that comes fluidly and doesn't see the least bit forced.
That's the kind of comedy I experienced in this movie.
That's the kind of comedy I love..

The characters themselves were wonderful too....
The show was placed as a highschool setting and each character was as realistic as ever in their stories.
The pain and way they each reacted after the break up (all except Yanami) seemed so real that I felt like I was the one dumped.
The show didn't bring in a lot of characters and I feel that was a strong suit as there were able to fill them up with stunning character development arcs or episodes.

This show is one that was a treat before the October shows.
A lighthearted show that deals with matters of the heart and laughter of the mind.
Season 1 just finished and it's been put in my wait-list for season 2. Although it hasn't been confirmed, I am hopeful....
Regardless, if you haven't, I urge you to check out the just concluded season 1.
It's 12 episodes long so you could start watching it and finish it today...

It is important when the stories have characters with development because that does not allow us to know more in depth their feelings, I hate it when anime are full of dozens of characters without any kind of background.

Thanks for sharing!

This is the only RomCom from last season that really caught my attention for being different from most. I really liked it and it's in my Top.

Good review.
