Arcane :: Arcane: League of Legends (2021, 9 episodes)
A terrible emotionally manipulative show that leaves viewer a worse and more traumatized person than before watching the show.
Brother kills brother; a friend have her friends killed so she succumbs to madness and becomes mass-murdering psychopath; an assistant in love with researcher dies because of her affection; a man fighting crime ends up accidentally killing a child; an altruistic scientist researching dangerous energy source is forced to weaponise research, etc. The only good character died in the first few episodes. Nobody smiles.
Sadness, despair, corruption and endless stream of pointless violence with almost no story. A mysterious pink glowing drug, that so many characters use, gives them superpowers but leaves them maimed and mutated as adverse reaction.
The show indoctrinates viewers strongly: friendship will make you suffer, caring will get you killed, family is fiction, and the hopeless world is all about resentment and hate.
Of course, this is exactly as expected from Netflix.

At least, we have the solace of knowing he died fighting for our cause.
Every episode of this series is undoubtedly incredible, it's something too crazy in my opinion, one of my favorite series!

IMHO "Arcane" is one of the worst shows that I've ever seen, and what's curious is that it seems to be intentionally made this way, probably as a weapon in cultural war, to indoctrinate and traumatise by selling nicely wrapped despair.
Antonio Gramsci would be proud to learn that his ideas of cultural warfare were embraced by makers of "Arcane" who promoted profoundly unattractive view on love and friendship by portraying them as unworthy of pursuing...
