Alternate Universe painting : 1930's starlet.

Yvonne knew, being a goddess of the silverscreen, that to record back her admiring fans was the latest thing.

Another Sketch and painting in my Alternate Tech universe, where in I imagine a parallel timeline to our own where Tech was invented and integrated into society centuries earlier than our own.

I've returned to the 1930's fashion plate and imagined a starlet of the time, however this 1930's has high tech, but integrated into the latest fashions.

A few of the layers in GIF form.

As Paparazzi and online life didn't exist in our own 1930's the starlets then were only 'photographed' in very staged ways. The narrative was easily controlled. Today that is not the case, so in our Alternate 1930's where tech is very much a part of daily life, the Screen Goddess of the time might very well wish to record her surroundings in case she needs to verify any 'stories'.

I also like the idea that her little screen in her headpiece could not only record, but play little images and music to add to her dramatic Entrances as Hollywood Hot Spots.

I hope you like my next lady in my Alternate series, I'm still having such fun making them.

I hope you find a moment in your day to indulge in your own passions and remember to stay creative.

Wow! I don't think I have ever seen this done so well, leaving room for both parallels to be independent of each other, yet flowing back so nicely.

Gosh, did that make sense? It did in my head.

She is beautiful at any rate and a tad unusual. Perhaps that is why I am drawn to her. High Tech can be a lot more fun in the artist sketchbook than I gave it credit for.

Lovely and so much fun!

Thank you so much @dswigle Yes, I like a combination and variety of things in my art, tho I also paint tranquil traditional scense of lighthouses and sailboats, I also love to fill pages with sketches of imagined worlds. I think being an artist is a great way to go on holiday on the page :)

I hope you are doing well.

I really enjoy this concept art that looks hand drawn, I wish we had more artists of the same level here in the HIVE community and not these artists through AI like you find a lot in Alien Hive and we know who they are.

I'm glad you like it and yes hand drawn, tho later stages I draw on my old tablet (tho still much the same way I do on paper haha, except the joy of having layers) AI is such an odd thing, it could be a tool for artists, we shall see what comes of it all. I feel like the movement now in AI in all things (look out actual lawyers) is going to change the face of society much in the way that the internet eventually did. I'm old enough to remember the old commercials about the 'interenet' when it was just a concept and a sort of ethereal place that we couldn't quite grasp, now it is SUCH a part of our daily life (like right now for example haha) that I think 10 years from now the world shall look quite different. It's all interesting times to live in, eh?
