Hello guys, hope you all are doing well. I am participating in this community after a long time. I took a walk in my village on the first day of the year and it was a very pleasant and relaxing day for me so I wanted to write a post about it and I thought the Wednesday Walk community would be suitable for this walk.

Now let's go on a beautiful walk. When I woke up this morning, I had a very strange feeling and maybe this feeling was the joy of a new year. When I came out of my room, I saw that there was fog everywhere and there was very little chance of the sun coming out. I went back to my bed but after lying in bed for a few more hours I was very tired and I wanted to go for a walk somewhere beautiful so I quickly wore my shoes and jacket to protect myself from the cold weather and went for a walk.
First I saw the flock of sheep so I took a beautiful picture of those sheep and these sheep became part of my first picture then I moved on. There is only one church in our village because there are not many Christians and they decorated the stairs with flowers for Christmas.
I stood outside the church and took some pictures of it. Its minaret also has beautiful lights and at night when all the lights are on, it is quite a beautiful sight. I have a friend's house next to the church and I wanted to take him for a walk with me but he wasn't home so I walked alone.
Now I was going towards the canal of my village and I saw a big house whose outer wall has turned black due to the rains. I find this house very creepy and it gets more scary at night because no one lives in this house and its owners live in the city. I think the garden of this house has not been cleaned for a long time and the outer wall has been built quite high.
On one side of the canal there are some mud houses, some of which are inhabited and the rest are deserted because they are unlivable and dilapidated. I always look closely at these broken mud houses because I love historical things.
Now I saw some buffaloes which were resting and a crow was jumping over them and I captured the movement. Now the fog is disappearing and the day is beginning to brighten. When I looked at the canal, I was surprised that the canal had dried up to a great extent. The canal dries up at the beginning of every year. The last time I saw the canal a month ago when it was full of water.
When the canal dries up, some people of the village go to come out the sand from the canal. Some people use this sand to build houses and some people sell this sand and this canal sand is sold very expensively. It is very difficult to extract sand from here during winter season. I saw children here who weren't wearing shoes and it made me feel even colder looking at them. 😄 People collect this sand and keep it in one place so that it dries to some extent and is easy to carry. People put some thorny bushes on top of their sand to protect so that no wild animals scatter it again.
On one side of the canal there is a forest which is not natural but has been artificially planted. I saw some broken trees here, one tree that was probably broken due to the storm was sprouting new branches from below. I also took pictures of some dead trees that had fallen down.
At that time I had no one to take my picture and I wanted to take a picture of myself so I took a picture of myself with my front camera. Now I started walking along the canal and I saw that someone had planted radishes and turnips in a small area and their plants were still very young.
I saw two children carrying many sacks of dry straw on a small bicycle. When I did the camera at them to take a picture, they tried to run away but I quickly took a picture and then I saw in the picture that the previous child was looking at me quite suspiciously.😄 Now I saw at a short distance two boys who had lit a fire of wood. Arriving there, I warmed up my hands which was coming out of my jacket pocket to take pictures. It was very cold and now after warming my hands I was feeling a little relieved.
I saw a boy walking with his pet dog so I told him I want to take a picture of you with your dog. The dog was looking at me but its eyes are not visible in the picture. I could not see any sign of sunrise and now the cold wind started blowing.
I saw some banana plants on the banks of the canal increase to the beauty of the place. I was imagining how beautiful the sight would be if these plants were covered with ripe bananas and the canal was full of water. I also saw a small house in front of the canal which was made of bricks and I was thinking that the people living in this house are brave who live near the canal in severe winter because of the canal there is cold air here.
Now I saw many ducks and they were all resting probably they don't want to go into the cold water of the canal. At a short distance, some dogs were resting on dry straw and looking at them, it seemed that they had no joy in the new year and today was their resting day. I moved on after taking photos of the ducks and dogs.
Now I saw two white goats on one side of a tree and two brown goats on the other side. One white goat had a slight black color and these two white goats looked very cute. Both brown goats stood up straight for the photo and looked towards the camera, perhaps these goats wanting to capture a good picture of themselves.
Now I was going back home as it was very cold and I had been walking for the last two hours. On the way I saw some boys playing badminton and two players were playing on one side. I also saw a brown horse on the road but I couldn't take a picture of the horse in time because I was late to take out my mobile phone of my pocket of jacket.
I took a picture of the horse from behind and it was my last picture. I had a lot of fun doing the walk and I'm glad I had a good start to the first day of the new year. Now I have decided that I will definitely go out for a walk once a week as it is very good for my health. Hope you enjoying reading about my walk.
