Alive and Thriving Caturday/ Saturday - "The Kids"!

Hello there Friends, Happy Caturday / Saturday Night - and I wish to thank you for your visit!

This week I got a few photos of the Kitties that are normally a bit hard to get. Shy/skittish - a lot. It also seems that the sense their photo being taken and do not always approve...
But I did get a few I would like to share this #caturday with you so that you can see, they are #aliveandthriving !
This is Wilbur and his sister Splash hanging around in the shower... It seems it has become a spring retreat - till they find the next one,

And here is "Two Brothers and a Sister" - Wilbur, Splash, and Sapphire,

And an update on the three from the old house,
I got this when I was feeding them on Friday, all seem good - for the most part!

In other news...
"Inky" has moved on to a neighbors house with "Panda" (remember him?) I think the Kittens chased him off..
And Koala has gotten himself injured...😭 He only comes out at night and I really don't get to see him in the mornings. I hope he recovers!

And with that, thank you once again for your visit and,
Have a "Blessed, Happy, and Safe" New Week!
Also...
Remember "The Father" in ALL THINGS!
He "Remembers You"!
👍🏼😊😇😁😇😊👍🏼

Dark Chocolate and Type 2 DM

People who consume dark chocolate, not milk chocolate, at least 5 servings per week are at a 21% lower risk of developing type 2 DM! A study by Harvard researchers recently published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) revealed this. The study result is the summation of three studies: the Nurses’ Health Studies I and II and the Health Professionals Follow-up Study.

The study period was 34 years, and there were a total of 192,000 US adults in those three studies. Of them, 112,000 participants consumed dark chocolate over time! At the end of the study, 19,000 participants developed type 2 DM. Out of 19,000 diabetics, only 5000 were from the dark chocolate-eating group!

Dark chocolate has many other health benefits, besides the protection against type 2 DM. However, to get the maximum health benefit, it must have at least 70% cocoa solids! The high levels of flavanols in dark chocolate do the magic!
