SHAWARMA NIGHT

Unfortunately, I don't have many pictures to share, but yesterday's night with @creativepearl was interesting. We actually decided to watch a movie together throughout the night on the movie night at her house, but I ended up falling asleep after the first film.
I'm not typically the type of person who enjoys watching movies, but recently, things have changed and I now watch them occasionally (I like this, but I also don't). Prior to beginning the entire movie viewing, I ordered two shawarma pieces, a sizable plate of jollof and frid rice, and two large bottles of sharwama.
I would not like spending the night without filling up my stomach you know...
Fortunately, I was able to take some pictures of the sharwama, but bae didn't want me to oppress my readers by allowing me to photograph the sharwama while we were eating it.

These two photographs were taken by me... I'm not very good at taking pictures. I didn't realise this until Olawumi took the phone from me to retake the pictures herself, this time without the yellow and green nylons.
Her shots were much better... I wish I had more of these shots without the nylon... To be honest, I sneaked a picture.
The shawarma is shown here without its wrap. The cost of shawarma varies according to the price. This kind is shawarma chicken. Although there was definitely no chicken in it, it was still very tasty to eat. Since I don't particularly enjoy it, I rarely order shawarma.
Although, I may have a change of heart later...
The movie we watched was a Nigerian movie titled: Finding Hubby. Coincidentally I found a review of the same movie on Hive here.
The film, in my opinion, was very intriguing and imparted some moral lessons. One of the life lessons I could take away is to focus on your goals regardless of how others perceive you, and the second one is for women: never play with a man's heart.
In an effort to win this round of Ludo, I made the decision to play it again with Pearl. In fact, we played Ludo twice, and guess what? Both times I fell to her. When we played again, I came so close to winning. I even had hopes of beating her, but somehow I fell short. She is skilled at the game, and luck is always on her side.
The fact that I went to bed after eating rice, shawarma, and an 85cl bottle of 5Alive pulpy made it a particularly interesting night. What more could I possibly have wanted?
Tomorrow I'd be heading to Lagos. Hopefully I'll write about it on my blog.

That was a really beautiful way to spend your night. It's been a long time I ate Shawarma but I still don't have the craving for it now at all, I think I might if I see someone else eating it sha.
Tomorrow you go again, it's a matter of time before you beat her but one thing I will advise is, never show you wish to win and never say you will loose. Always be positive of what you play, hehe. Yes I'm giving you ludo advice, lolz.

Youβd be surprised to find out Iβve never had shawarma before. Like never. When I was school, I planned several times to go get it sometime with @gunu1, my friend who was obsessed with it but we never actually made the trip.
I donβt particularly like African movies mostly because of the poor story telling and video quality. This one seems a bit different though so maybe Iβll try it some time. That was a fun night indeed, man.

I am not surprised if you say you haven't eaten shawarma before. Last year was the first time I ate pizza and it has only been the last time. So I have eaten pizza only one in my life.
I don't really watch African movies myself except they are recommended by a friend who prescribes they are very good. Then I go ahead watching it.

I love Shawarma, there's this Shawarma stall called Leylam. My favorite! But always wondered what shawarma tastes like in other parts of the world.
It's 2 am and this makes me hungry! Lol. π
I would love to know how it tastes in other parts of the world too. Hopefully, I would be able to afford traveling the world and try out their kinds of food. This is something I hope for.
