My Craziest Boredom Story

There's almost never a boring moment for someone who's always busy keeping busy but there must surely come a time when you just feel lonely and your mood isn't so good... That is when boredom strikes in somehow.

When I'm not busy with work, I'm with my phone chatting away
When I'm not with my phone, I'm playing my favourite music
When I'm not playing music, I'm sleeping
When I don't feel like sleeping, I watch movies
When there's no movies to see, that is when boredom comes in for me.

I still don't think I have a boring moment considering what I do when I'm bored 😂 because I tend to do things I normally won't do when I'm busy with other things. If I should start listing out things I do when I get bored I mean, when I get crazy, you might laugh and call me weird.

There's one time I was so bored and not motivated to do anything but I don't know what motivated me to start dancing in front of my mirror as if I was listening to some music in my head... Nigerians will call it "Village people were playing music" 😂 well, I guess it's true because I don't know why I do that and it's not like I know how to dance.

Another time, I kept screaming (I mean singing loudly 🙄) inside my room that even my neighbours came knocking on my door asking if there was a problem. Of course, there was a boredom problem but I couldn't tell them but just started to scream quietly... Can you scream quietly? Don't worry, boredom will help you do that when it comes 😂

One thing I've noticed about my boredom is that I tend to do things that will get me laughing until I forget that I was bored and I get myself back in full reactivation even without knowing it.

But there is this one unforgettable and crazy boredom experience I had

It happened when I just started schooling in the school I've graduated from. Almost every time, I felt bored because I was yet to understand how things work in the place so I was withdrawn to myself and always inside my room. But there was a day I was so bored that I thought if I tried to bear with it for another minute, I might go crazy for real. Although my boring moments are also moments I tend to be crazy lol.

What did I do to get rid of that boredom?

I did a lot of things that day... Listening to music, sang different songs even the ones I didn't know the lyrics well, I watched movies and I slept for sometimes but all that only spent some of the boring time but it didn't work and then a thought came to mind.

Call a random number
I dialed a number on my phone, changed my voice and was talking with some person I didn't know... It was fun because the person was so confused about who he was talking to 😂

I tried acting a movie I recently saw
This one made me laugh so much because I found out I'm really good at acting but only when I'm alone. Who may have heard me from outside will hear me scream at some point and sometime I'll be quarreling with myself.

I went out for a walk
I rarely go out but when I realize the boredom might take my life 😂 I walk out of my room and strike a conversation with my neighbours even when I really don't feel like it. Conversations always get me to feel better.

The thing is, I always find a way out of my boredom whenever and it always work for me. Above all, my personality helps me a lot during boring moments.
