Don't Wait To Get Attention - Do This Instead!

In our offline world, a lot of us wish to be noticed and to get attention of some people especially those that would favour us in one way or the other. Talk more of the online world with so many people in it.

Sometimes I do wonder if it's possible that more than half of the reality world builds a life in the online world... If it is, then trust me, you've got so much to do to get attention to yourself.

Same goes with being on Hive and wanting attention...

Hive is more than just a blogging site with so many bloggers, investors and vloggers among which, so many are doing extremely well to keep growing the attention they get from their supporters.

How do you get attention in a place where there are people who give overwhelmingly good articles and great ideas?

Don't just wait for the attention, just do this...

You've got to do something to gain something, don't you think?

So here are few things you should keep doing while you wait to get noticed on Hive... They are not much but would go a long way if you do.

Stay Focused

I read a post about having a skill if you want to earn more in life... I feel that applies here on Hive too. Find your niche on Hive where you're a expertise and put your focus there.

You're good with photography? You can use your photography to make different kinds of posts in so many communities, you don't have to focus on a photography community.

You're good with cooking? You can not only share your recipes, but also how you balance your finances in buying food stuffs, how you spend in the market places and what you do to stay healthy with the kind of food you eat... All these are different kinds of posts to different communities under one skill.

Just find out what you enjoy writing about more, find communities to explore that niche more and watch your profile grow.

Think outside the box

Don't just follow what others are doing all the time, do your own thing and make it stand out. Sometimes you check to see what others are giving more attention to regardless of the reputations, check and make yours different and better.

Don't just write any kind of posts that comes to mind too, think more before sharing it... I'm not saying you should take it too serious, just don't share what people won't find fun and interesting to read from.

Thinking outside the box also requires you taking notes of these...

Creating quality posts

A non plagiarized and well written posts is a way out, don't write if you know you're not giving your best at that point... Relax and write later.

Creating dazzling titles

I've come to understand that titles have a long way to go in presenting what you want to share in your posts, make them presentable.

Try not to use concluding titles where the reader gets the whole gist before reading... Even movies like that hardly sell 😂

Try the tricky title... Make them come in to read something but reads another message entirely, it's best to be fun in giving titles.

Use attractive images

It could be original or sourced, just make sure to grab attention with it. Do not rush your image searching, sometimes that activity takes almost the time I use in creating a post.

Have fun with whatever you're doing

You can't be boring, not in a place where so many are finding ways to get attention and we all know we love funny... We're mostly attracted to funny articles where we express ourselves even more better especially when it has a lot to do with us.

To have fun, you should find out what people love to read about and how to make yours fun no matter how serious the post should be... A touch of fun won't hurt.

And that's it, so long you're doing this... Watch your profile grow and grabs attention from many. What if it doesn't work? Continue doing your thing, no relent!
