10 Tipping/Mining Tokens that you should know on Hive
If you took part in the Newbies Surprise Contest that @projectmamabg held a few days ago, you may have seen that she was so kind as to tip $LUV and $PIZZA tokens to people who left comments under the post. If you look closer, she also mined hivebits' $HBITS token for her own self.
We frequently see these in the comments on people's posts, and many of us have also received them from others. So I think this isn't the first time we've seen such tips and gifts on Hive.
Even yet, a lot of us are clueless about what they are, how to mine or how to tip others. We also question if they are actually valuable and could be sold or bought with Hive.
In this article, we'll go over ten Hive tipping and mining tokens that everyone should be familiar with. We'll also include key links that will explain how to use Hive-engine or Beeswap.dcity to convert or swap these tokens.
Bear these in mind:
- Tipping tokens refers to the act of sharing tokens with or gifting to others,
- Mining tokens refers to the act of generating new tokens for oneself or others,
- Some of these tokens could either be tipped to others or mined for oneself/others,
- Some of these tokens could be tipped and mined at the same time,
☆ LUVshares
LUVshares was developed by @luvshares with the intention of fostering love on the Hive blockchain. especially for single people
It allows you to spread love to any Hive user by replying their post or comment with one of the LUV commands !LUV or !luv or !Luv or !love which triggers the LUVbot to share some LUV.

Pizza was introduced to Hive by @thebeardflex with the intention of encouraging users to share PIZZA with their friends as a fun engagement and reward token.
Every time we make the command !PIZZA the pizza delivery bot is activated, and it sends out free slices of $PIZZA from the $PIZZA reward pool.
$PIZZA can be earned by using the #hivepizza tag in your creative post, participating in the engagement tasks in the Pizza discord server and purchasing $PIZZA on Hive Decentralized Exchanges (Hive-engine, Tribaldex and Leodex).

The LOH token (Lady of Hive) is a reward token created and owned by the Ladies of Hive Community @hive-124452.
The lady bot is activated whenever a LOH token holder issues the command !Lady which tips the author of the post or comment the command is being issued under. Additionally, the token holder who issues the command also get the same amount of LOH token: hence, it is a give/receive or win/win command.

The $LOLZ token is an engagement token issued by @lolztoken on the Hive blockchain with the goal of promoting joy, laughter, and crypto.
Whenever holders of the LOLZ token issue out the !LOL or !LOLZ command in a comment or post of an author, the LOLZbot shares a clean joke and tips the author a freshly mined LOLZ token.

$CTP is a tribal and reward token for the CTP Swarm; a community that exposes you to online earning, affiliate marketing and other online entrepreneurial skills.
Whenever holders of the $CTP token issue out the !CTP command, it triggers the @ctptips bot to issue out reward tokens to authors whose post the command was made under.
Unlike other tipping tokens, the $CTP goes directly to the authors wallet without any mention in the comment section.

$BEER token is a virtual BEER that can be shared with friends. It has been integrated into several games like @dcity, where you could use the token to purchase in-game BEER.
Whenever the !BEER command is used as a comment, @beerlover is triggered to share beer with the author of the post.

The $HIVEBITS token is a blend of Hive's blockchain with the ethos of Bitcoin.
It requires that you use one of the commands !hivebits or !HBIT or !hbit or $HBIT or !WUSANG or !wusang as a comment/reply to one of your own posts.
Note
- You can use it only one time per day
- You don't need to have a staked
$HBITbefore you can use it - Don't include another command along with it
- You will receive 1.0
$HBITin your Hive-Engine wallet and you might find a bonus treasure token (BLAQ)

☆ PGM
The $PGM (Play Gamer) token was a project created by @zottone444 to bring video gamers together with Hive.
Every time $PGM token holders use the !PGM command, the @pgm-curator is triggered and it sends out several tokens to both the author and the holder.
The $PGM token can also be earned by using the #pgm tag in your posts related to games.

The $ALIVE token is a reward token for the members of the Alive Tribe created by @flaxz.
The Tipping feature is primarily for the members of the Alive Tribe who have staked their Alive tokens. When they use the !Alive command, the @youarealive tipping bot sends 0.1 Alive tokens which is paid for by the earnings on @alive.chat.

I did not know that I could stake the tokens and use them. I have staked ALIVE but really did not know what it means to stake.

Do you know that staking some of these tokens give you voting power for those tokens, such that when you vote a post with the tags associated to the tokens you could earn curation rewards from your upvotes, along with Hive Curation reward?
Let me put it in this way.... in this post I made, I used the tags:

Out of these tags, the following are associated with tokens on Hive; in other words, they are called Tribal Tokens -
Which means if you as a voter vote my post you are not only voting with your Hive Power's voting power; but you are voting with your - Leo Power, Pizza Power, Ctp power, pgm power, alive power, pimp power and neoxag power.
So, if you have already staked those tokens in your wallet, they will have their own voting power... which means a single vote you give out, will earn me Hive rewards, HBD rewards, leo rewards, pizza reward, ctp, alive, pgm, pimp and neoxag, depending on how much voting power you have on those tokens.
In the photos I sent, you can see that the same post I shared, I have received $6 upvotes on peakd or ecency frontend as you can see.. but the same post also earned me 3.47 Leo tokens and 2.4 CTP, and other tokens that enables staking for curation also does the same.
At the end of the curation period, the voters (curators) will get their 50% share, while the authors will get their own 50% share. Which means if you stake your token and have power to vote, you get your share...
With this you also earn while making a single vote (curation)...
There are also other benefits of staking, depending on the tokens... tokens like Alive, also share daily rewards in various tokens.
I am so glad that I came across your post, I did not know any of this, thank you for taking the time to help me. I have one more question, should I stake all of the tokens that I have? Meaning, if I have 1,310.529 Alive tokens do I stake them all or part of them?

The truth is that nobody will provide an answer to questions like this. The decision to stake some or all depends solely on you.
But what we can do is to present the reality on ground or to give an assessment of the token from an individual view point. However, you are required to DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH (DYOR) before you stake or buy any token.
I don't really know much about the Alive token since I am not much of a participant in the Iamalive Tribe. I focus more in Muisc, Leofinance, Gaming and Creative writing.
However, from the little I know
Staking Alive Tokens will earn you higher curation reward when you vote posts with the #Alive tag in it.
and from the little I've seen on my wallet, staking Alive Tokens...
I have only 69.941 Staked Alive tokens and everyday, I earn these 4 tokens.
Which means, if I have high Staked Alive Tokens I'll earn these tokens in greater number. Maybe, 2 zeros might be out with your 1k+ Alive Power.
Which means by Staking Alive Tokens, you are not only increasing your Alive stakes un your wallet, but you are also earning other tokens.... Amazing, right?
And as you know, BRO token is one of the best tokens on Hive Blockchain... so it's a privilege to bag it via Staking your Alive tokens...
However, one of the disadvantages of Staking tokens is that whenever you need them, you can't withdraw or convert instantly... you need to wait for a certain period of time... Maximum 4 weeks for Hive Engine tokens (unlike 13 weeks for Hive).
That is the only disadvantage... you won't have it as liquid for instant transaction....
If you are cool with it, and have no need for carrying out any transaction with it for now... you could stake it up and continue to earn more Curation reward and Reward in other tokens.

Not at all!The PGM project has several levels and they are divided into 6 points:
10 PGM in stakes = 1 command per day.
100 PGM in stakes = 3 commands per day.
500 PGM in stake = 5 commands per day and you earn what you send.
1000 PGM in stake = 10 commands per day and you earn what you send.
2500 PGM in stake = 10 commands per day and you earn what you send plus 0.00000001 BTC that ends up in the wallet of the person who used the command.
5000 PGM in stake = 15 commands per day and all level 5 gains are multiplied x2 (example 0.2 PGM and 0.02 PIZZA will be sent to you who used the command to send the rewards to the other user)
