It's Festive Season. Sending Love Out.

It's the festive week, and everyone is making plans to make their festive time a detty one. Don't worry; "Detty December" is always a good thing. If you want to know more about it, you should visit @abenad profile; she wrote about it recently. Many people have already set out plans on things they want to do during Christmas day, after Christmas, and even the first week of January, but here I am thinking about it.

Now that my siblings are back from the moon to celebrate Christmas with our parents, I have to include them in my plans because it's been months since I saw them last. My sister asked me this afternoon, "Brother, where are we going to go this Christmas?" and I replied, "We are going to see the Lord in church on Christmas day."

Ok, the truth is I have been preparing for Christmas since the beginning of the year, and I believe this year's festive period would be great.

We already have two bags of rice that can last us for the festive period and also during the hard times of January. My siblings and I went to get meat today, and we haven't even gotten enough for Christmas. Walking around Lagos today was very stressful because I had to go from one market to another, but one thing I love about office jobs is that they tend to get some relief package during the end of the year, but you see, those of us that work at home get dust from the air.

At least for the festive period, the food is ready. Baggy Jean is ready, some funds for spending are ready, and we even have a Hive Hangout in January for people living in the city of Lagos.

@trojan1 has been making lots of plans to make sure this hangout is a success, which means there are things to do during the festive period.

Although I plan to go to the cinema to watch the movie "Everyone Loves Jennifer" with my siblings, I am having a second thought about it because the money for everything will be coming from my pocket. Maybe I will just change plans or postpone until they resume back to school and give some silly excuse for that. hehehehe

So far, things are going well on my end. I have been in communication with some of my friends on Hive, and I can tell things are going well at their end too. One thing I am grateful for is that I get to celebrate this Christmas with my complete family. No one is missing, and everyone is excited to see each other. I think I should take more pictures with my siblings before both of them return to school.

One Christmas day, my family and I will be at the church around 8 am to observe a one-hour service just to talk about the importance of the season and celebrate, and after that, going home to eat and eat before we think of nice places to visit. That's all the plans I have for now. If you have better ideas, I don't mind you pitching them to me.

Thanks for reading.
Yours Truly,
Hive Favourite alien.
