THE YEAR SO FAR...

I had a lot of rough year last year, my mental health was in a really bad place and one of the things I wanted to do this year was to heal and have a better year. I am in a better place now, and I have really grown in ways that blows even my own mind. Thanks to topics like this, I had to pause and think about how the year has really been for me and thanks to the journal that was gifted to me by @starstrings01 on my last birthday, for refreshing my memory about some moments.

When the year started, I wrote in my journal the things I want to work on and achieve this year. I have been able to fulfil some, and some, I haven't been able to. Reminding myself about them again is actually like a wake up call, so I can work on those other things before the year ends. One of the highlights for me this year is my graduation from the University. I am genuinely glad that I am done with the whole school stress. It's not as if this new phase has been easy, but then, I am pushing through day by day and I am sure it will keep getting better as time goes on.

I challenged myself at the beginning of the year to write on Hive for the whole year and so far, I have been able to do that. This is a very mind-blowing achievement for me because I never thought that was even possible. My excuse for my inconsistency on Hive before was that it wasn't possible for me to find something to write every single day. Prompts from different commuinities have helped me a lot to achieve this goal and I am genuinely grateful for it. If not, it might have been hard to self-develop topics every day, isn't it? Also, I have had really crazy days, really stressful days that I cannot even start to explain here. However, I suprised myself and stayed really committed and I am actually proud of myself for that.

Another major highlight for me so far is my business. There has been a lot of ups and downs in the past and also, moving away from school area after I graduated was a major shift for me. I even had to take a break, but I was still running the business on the low. However, I pulled myself together and looked for ways to meet up with orders and satisfy my customers despite the distance between us. I was also able to invest more in my business and it's been doing really great so far. There are still challenges, but I have learned a lot to know how to tackle them best. I even took my business to Tiktok and that one has been fun in a way, I love creating contents and checking up on my engagements every minute.

I have been to the cinema twice this year, one time with my brother and the other, with my friend. I also had a great time celebrating my mom's birthday in the month of March. The whole family went out, it was a really good evening. I am looking forward to the rest of the year being more fun than it has been. As you can also see, I haven't really had so much 'fun' this year.
