Parents Are a Role Model For their Kids, they Should Be Responsible
Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. Parenting is one of the big responsibilities that every parent has to accept for the bright future of their kids. It has sentiments as well as emotional attachment. This sacred relationship between parents and their kids laid the foundations of humanity. Yeah, we shall educate our kids about humanity; they will follow it. While following their instructions, kids always encounter different mistakes, either consciously or unconsciously. Now it is the responsibility of parents how they will teach their kids so that the same mistakes will not be repeated by them.
I Like Responsible Parents
As I'm still unmarried, hence, I don't have parenting experience, but I would love to share some parenting Attributes about my parents. Parenting neither needs to be strict nor lenient. They should be responsible parents.
I have witnessed some parents always punish their kids for breaking discipline. Some parents are lenient; they don't punish but like to share their experiences and advise them about the expected consequences. All parents can't understand that every kid doesn't need punishment either physical or emotional. Some kids need more pampering, and things become smooth.
There are very few parents in this world who like to teach their kids according to their Psychology. Yeah, we need to perceive either our kid needs physical therapy, or they need just an emotional game. I'm proud to have parents who have the tact to understand their kids by psychological association.
Like other kids, I was also notorious due to my naughty activities. Our home is full of disciplines and rules. For example, if our guests are at home, then each kid will embrace them and will not tease or hurt them. In Pakistan, there is a tradition that when a guest visits his or her relatives, he or she must offer some gifts or money to the kids. Once my aunt was at home with my little cousin. We were playing in the hall. My aunt came into the hall and made it taboo to play there because she was becoming disturbed by the noise. I did not hear her words and continued my Sport.
She complained to my father and questioned about discipline at home. Her words were painful when she mentioned that your kid Aslam is a stubborn man, he doesn't know how to respect their elders. My father listened to everything calmly and came into my room to ask what mistakes I had made. I clearly stated that,
"Dad! Auntie came into Hall and She was calling something hard to understand for me. Believe me, if I had heard her words, I must have followed them"
After hearing these words, my father first smiled and then responded,
"Aslam! We didn't have any doubt that you are a disciplined boy. When our elders are in front of us, we should stop everything and pay our full attention to them"
It was a mistake that I had encountered. When she was in front of me, I was busy playing and didn't pay attention to her. He has not scolded us but imprinted the harms of not listening attentively to our elders. I promised myself to hear every word spoken by elders and was feeling sorry for my aunt. I did sorry to her and everything sorted well. My aunt is a kind lady; still, I can remember that incident.
Final Thoughts
Our kids are our blessings from God. We are responsible for every mistake. The concept of parenting is not hard to understand. It is easy to perceive that we are an umbrella for our kids. We have to save them from harmful activities. Be a disciplined parent first, then teach about it to their kids. There is no need for physical or emotional punishment when our kid is not following discipline, we just need to understand their psychology. We should behave according to their needs. Kids 100% follow us when we pay 100% attention to each activity. There is no need to ignore their mistakes, but there is a need to pamper and love them even if they are breaking the rules. Love and Psychological Attachment between parents and kids are more important.

As I like to say, love is not just about affectionate acts; it's also the role of parents to educate and set good examples for their children.
I totally agree with you, parents must live an examplary life for their kids to see and learn from, and that way it's must easier, as we teach and discipline with love.
