The Grind: No. 322

Welcome to our curation compilation of sensational stories!

Community members around the globe contributed some fantastic original tales this week, centred around the one true elixir of life- coffee! We enjoyed the passion in these posts, and as all good coffee pals do, we wanted to share a cup of them with you!

Cinnamon Cup Coffee is centred around creating a virtual coffeehouse environment, which energises its occupants with the digital ambience of coffee creativity. We hope you will adore these posts as much as we did.

Happy New Year coffee card

✨"Today, while cleaning my kitchen cupboard, I discovered some old coffee from last year that we had saved to eliminate odours from the fridge. The coffee still smells okay but it's completely melted and become a big sticky lump.
At the same time, I got the idea to create a New Year's card for the community using coffee as paint. I used to paint sometimes a little as a hobby, but this is the first time trying to paint with coffee. After finishing my card I thought I had plenty of coffee to make paintings." @hindavi

✨"We wanted something more creative, but we weren't complaining, because the truth is, it was delicious. This coffee at McDonald's was the first one we had away from home in the new year and I can say with certainty that I enjoyed it a lot. It reminded me of the importance of enjoying the little things and living in the present moment, but always with a cup of coffee in hand." @jetta.amaya

✨"Meeting new coffee shops and trying new coffees excite me, especially sharing them with good people. Today I went on my first outing of the year, I haven't been out since last year, ha, ha, ha, ha, and I want to stay at home as long as possible, taking advantage of the remaining days of school vacation because then I have to get up very early again and take care of several tasks." @yelimarin

✨"My life has been full of coffee.

I have had office coffee, coffee at work meetings, coffee to keep me awake, coffee with the family, super fun after-dinner coffees with friends, coffee to comfort me, coffee to kill hunger, coffee to think, coffee to write and draw.
Coffee has never failed me and it is a ritual in my close circle to invite and be invited for coffee. It is also so in the environment in which I move: almost nothing is done without coffee." @adncabrera

Coffee Musing | Coffee after a Beach Day

✨"Before going for the coffee, we bought some chocolate cookies. That we would have something sweet for our coffee. We spend the rest of the afternoon talking about our favourite things about the day and how coffee is a fine way to end a day like that. Of course, we would've loved to stay longer since sundown is an awe-inspiring sight at that place, but we don't have our means of transportation. However, we might find a way to get some photos of that on another trip to the beach." @bertrayo

✨"I deign to take a moment of this valuable time and sit down to enjoy a good coffee, still breathing Christmas airs, which allows us to perform this daily ritual, that just a sip of this delicious drink, which invites us to delight each sip, visualize those moments lived, that contemplation we do in that year that is gone in each sip and sip, I find the warmth of a new beginning in this year that has peeked his nose with so much enthusiasm." @maleidamarcano

✨"My two sisters and I went to Bolivar Square and El Venezolano Square, very close to the birthplace of the Liberator Simon Bolivar. There we entered a museum that I did not know, the Museo Sacro.

✨"Every time I pass by one of these places I wonder what makes it so popular or if it is only famous for the advertising it receives in the movies, but since drinking coffee outside the home is expensive, it was hard for me to take the step and try it. A few days ago we had an outing with friends and we decided that it was the perfect time to satisfy that curiosity." @isauris

Coffee Time Near The Sea

✨" This cafe had french toast, croissant, egg benedict on English muffin, french omelette, avocado poached egg, truffle mushroom scramble toast and sauteed mushroom sourdough toast.
For the entree, they had salmon fattoush salad, le escargot, croque madame, crispy parmesan zucchini, baba ganoush, classic house salad, poached tuna salad, truffle parmesan french fries and rosemary chicken souvlaki." @devyleona
