Hi!

teplaya.png

Here a tea with lots of lemon, cold, in the sunset on the beach. With friends and my daughter. I am happy. This was a happy tea.

But I am a coffee drinker!

I drink coffee when I wake up. Putting the coffee pot on the stove is usually one of my first actions of the day: that activity tends to tune me into waking life. I drink coffee at various times during my stay at work: I usually take my cup and contemplate the garden, while I continue to think about the various tasks I perform, and I feel serene, with a certain peace of mind to make decisions. I drink coffee when I study: then my thoughts become clearer. I drink coffee when I write: then the activation of coffee is one with fiction, with reflection, with the perception of the beauty of the imagination.
I drink coffee for no reason and it is comforting, a gesture that reconciles me with the fact of being alive, in very simple terms. To live.

Hi @adncabrera, I see that you enjoyed that cold tea on the beach with your daughter, how nice. I also prefer cold tea with enough lemon is refreshing, but like you I am a lover is coffee, I love it at all times, either black or with milk. 😊☕️😋

Hello!
When it's hot, and these days it's been very hot, I like to drink a tea that has acidic notes. The feeling of freshness is enhanced. At the beach I was drinking a mint infusion with lots of lemon. It was an incredible evening.
Like you I am a coffee drinker, but the truth is, when there is a risk of dehydration, the best thing is a big glass of refreshing tea.

Hi!
Over time I have come to associate the idea of writing with the idea of drinking coffee. Maybe it's not so good to associate one with the other, but what I can attest to is that it's very pleasurable. And it works!

Beer! Divine invocation!
I drink coffee all the time. I can't say the same for beer. What I can say is that I have it on my private altar next to coffee.

Happy Sunday, @qwerrie

Hi!

I think one of the attractions of coffee is that it can adapt to almost any circumstance. It is an extremely friendly drink... and it is also a very good drink for making friends.

I once met a person who came up with the idea that the tea essence lies in its hot temperature, and when tea becomes simply warm, it ceases to be tea. I strongly disagree with that conception... but we live in the north, unlike you... which of course leaves its significant imprint on the traditions of drinking drinks!

Hello!

I find it extremely accurate to refer to coffee as an accomplice beverage. The truth is that it can even be a confessional. Some coffees keep as many secrets in the bottom of the cup as the bottom of a glass of wine.
Have a happy Saturday!

Wow, such a great explanation! It seems that coffee is really your best friend when it comes to drinks. I am the same with the tea, occasionally and very rare. When I visited Japan I tended to drink a lot of different teas, which was great, but their tea drinking culture is so different than ours!

Best wishes!

What influences your mood when drinking tea or coffee?

I am convinced that “THE COFFEE” significantly influences my mood when I drink it. When I open my eyes every morning after blessing another day of life, that cup of black that activates all my senses comes to my mind, the first thing I do is to put my coffee pot on the stove while I do my personal hygiene and that aroma that it gives off makes my thoughts and actions are positive.
While I am tasting it I feel that my whole being begins to activate in such a way that all negative energy that I may have leaves my body and my day begins in the best way. “I LOVE COFFEE”.

My mood influences a lot when I decide to drink coffee, since I drink it when I feel that my energy is exhausted, when I need to make good decisions and organize my ideas; because coffee comforts me.
Like all good coffee drinkers I drink it even just because. It is an excellent companion either alone or with company. It brings out the best in me because it gives you all the optimism you need to move forward.

Hello! @qwerrie
I'm not much of a tea drinker, I like to add lemon and sweetened with honey. I have grown up in a coffee drinking culture and family but I really appreciate tea ☕️
Peppermint tea is the most wonderful thing there is for the stomach.
Well, there is a tea for every taste and every moment.

Excellent Sunday of conversation coffee lovers.

My preference when it comes to drinking coffee is in the morning as soon as I get up, for the simple reason that my coffee helps me to start the day with more energy and spirit. I think many of us love the effect of coffee on the body.

I only ask life to allow me to continue enjoying my delicious coffee and to help me in those moments when I need to be very active.

Comrades, let's continue enjoying our delicious coffee, which has many benefits for both our body and mind.

I hope to continue reading you in the comments about your coffee grinding methods.

I wish you all an excellent start of the week with lots of coffee.☕

coffee grinding methods.

...depend on one's goals, coffee taste you want to get, and the way of brewing coffee. I brew coffee in jezzwa, so _ I make quite a fine grind (apparently 22-24 seconds in my electrical grinder) to match the process.

Cheers! have a great start of the week, my friend. Hive !PIZZA goes your way.

Both me and my wife are devoted coffee-addicts, but tea takes a great part in our lives drinking habits too. I conducted a special mini-interview with my wife asking the same question: when its time for a coffee instead of a tea? (in the photo below you see her recent purchase: favourite tea cup in Chinese-style).

IMG_4794w-h.jpg

We share the same opinion most of us developed in this thread, about coffee boosting activity, charging energy for the day activity, and so on. 😎 So, what is difference? we dont take coffee 'on the run' and many times per day, just once or (rarely) twice. We prefer to have our coffee when we dont rush anywhere, just sit back and relax and sip the coffee leizurely, spend 15-20 minutes with it. In other words, we set aside a time for drinking coffee when nothing can distract us from our cup. You may consider it a sort of sacred ritual, and you will not be far from truth.

Besides that, personally speaking - I prefer coffee with pastries :P so, in emergency case I go out to the local bakery to get some cookies to go along with coffee, otherwise I may even prefer to skip coffee at all.

As for the tea, it is far less a ritual thing but much more functional; whenever we feel body's dehydration levels increased and it is necessary to replenish the lack of water, we make tea - 4, 6, 8 times a day? I dont count. The two most common types of tea we constantly replenish our stock are: black leaf Jian-hong tea and Nargiz Chilka black tea (it is apparently the same as Dargeeling). They are ordinary grade but high quality tea, true 'middle class'.

Also, sometimes I make tea simply to warm myself - thats why I prefer black tea especially during cold seasons, and green teas (oolong, jasmin etc) in summer time.

There are moments when a coffee energises and revives you, those moments when stress overwhelms you, there is nothing better than enjoying a good coffee. I don't know how it does it but it is something magical, you immediately feel that your body recovers strength to continue the task. Haven't you ever had a lump in your throat and with a sip of coffee it goes away?

I also like to enjoy tea, so I have several aromatic favourites, but tea relaxes me too much and makes me sleepy. So not all the time is a good time for tea, I usually do it when I'm at home or when I'm feeling sick with the flu.
