YOU CAN'T CHEAT

Okay I believe I'm not the only one who nature has taught a lesson (shown shege), honestly it was when my teacher told me to pick a pin that I understood that there can't be two captains in one ship or two Masters in one house(my body).
It started when my brother decided to buy the number one temptation the devil had set for me in 2015,he did not just buy it he gave it to me for safe keeping. My brother bought the series I was looking for, for the past two weeks and told me to keep it for him and I took leverage on it.

At that time our good old friends NEPA decided to repent for a season and were supplying power every afternoon keeping it till the next morning, delighting me the most. As a smart girl that I am,I had to make good use of that opportunity. After all, it's hard for the universe to work in your favor. But there was a problem, I live in the house with one adult and five children besides me and we all wanted to watch different movies and series.They wanted to watch 49 days,a Korean series we had already seen, while I on the other hand wanted to watch Teen wolf season 4 and 5.

I thought about this problem and realized I had the advantage because everyone sleeps at 10pm, and I have the rest of the night to myself. I then crafted a plan on how I would finish my house chores and binge watch that series. My plan was going smoothly as I would make sure everyone finished eating at 5pm and then I would do the dishes and after that I would do my homework and read my books from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, after which I would go about preparing stew or sauce for the next day's rice, yam or potatoes and by the time I'm done with the cooking and cleaning it would probably be 9pm and then I would take a bath, a long one of which by the time I'm out it won't be long before the all go to bed and as my older brother wasn't at home I became the mistress of the night.

Things were going well, not just well but very well because I was able to finish both season 4 and 5 within a week and so I took the opportunity to get the next season and lucky for me it was out and wasn't as hard to find like the previous two so I continued in my ways. I felt so proud of myself because even though I didn't sleep I was full of energy which led me to feel like everything was alright, but then on the day I finished watching the last episode of Teen Wolf season 6 I went to school as usual feeling a sense of accomplishment as a secondary school student who was able to go without sleep for a week and two days, I felt really proud of myself until mathematics class.

Damn like you know that scenario where you feel you're seeing everything on the board and in your mind you are following the teacher back to back but out of nowhere cane decided to visit your cranium ( ogor) Jesus I jumped like chicken someone was trying to catch and the heard my teacher asking me why are you sleeping in my class. Omo realization fell on me like a bomb when I couldn't find any answer for the teacher, I was told to stand and it was in that moment I understood the meaning of you can't cheat nature because bredren I was standing yet sleeping and the worst part was the fact that I didn't know when I fell asleep and my teacher seeing that I have refused to repent decided to find a new means of keeping me awake by asking me to pick a pin. That day after doing one punishment after the other for three straight classes I decided to save myself by going to the nurse's office to sleep under the pretext of being sick.After that day I said to myself “I will never try it again” and I respected myself through the remaining part of my secondary school. But that doesn't mean I stopped binge watching in fact it became a different kind of addiction after secondary school and became worse when I started watching anime and reading mangas 😂😂😂
