THE VALUE OF PATIENCE AND CONTENTMENT.
Just because you can't buy it now doesn't explicitly rule out that you'll have it in the near future. Some people try to feel this sense of "belonging" or just present themselves in a "bigger-than-you-are way" as a way to impress people and end up living beyond their means and putting pressure on their wallets. Keep in mind you know: If you keep spending so as to impress people when things become tough for you, they won't be there to save you. So you should try to live and spend within your budget.
Never spend without proper consideration, or without having a backup plan. If you spend everything you can get without a backup plan, you are in danger. At every stage of your life, you need to know what you can and cannot afford to have at the moment. You don't have to dress expensively if you can't stand afford it.
The modest clothes that you have, try to keep them clean and wear them with pride. Most of the time, people don't know the value of the clothes you're wearing - you're the only one to blame. No matter what people think of you because you can't buy something in vogue right now, don't let there picture of you cause you to begin to beat yourself up. Always remember that even they can't even buy everything, so why let them stress you out?
You should embrace one thing: happiness does not depend on what kind of clothes you wear. You will be surprised to know that there are people who are very sad even with designer clothes and others who will be happy with their unbranded clothes. This is because happiness mainly comes from the heart.
If you are traveling to your destination by plane, people in economy class and those in first class will land at the same time. Once you get off the plane, no one will know what class you're flying in. I am not saying that enjoying life is not good, what I am saying is that enjoyment should be within your power, not at the expense of your future.
If you look at what you have now and compare it to what you had about 10 years ago, you'll agree with me that you got most of what you dreamed of. Take this example: many people dreamed of owning a mobile phone when it was launched a few years ago. Nowadays, owning a mobile phone is no longer considered a luxury. See, you can now buy things that were once considered luxuries in the past and that's what matters. Imagine if you were among those who wasted their lives because they wanted to own a cell phone, how would you feel now? Learn to be patient and contented, these are true virtues.
Thank You.
A great advice is pointed out here.
Living within your reach.
I so much respect those who live this life because they don't end up pleasing you, before it'll result to living a fake life.
Also, you said one striking thing:
Yay!!
This is definitely true. Clothes will come and go, new fashions keep coming. So there's no need killing yourself now.
Certainly, one step at a time, we'll definitely get there. And we may be surprise that the clothes we were chasing then will end up being out of date in the next few years to come LoL.
Thank you very much for sharing this thought.
A lot of persons have made grave error because of pressure and discontentment. It's normal to feel that way, but we must learn how to keep our thoughts in check and ensure we don't spend unnecessary. I'm glad you stopped by.
