MY CLEANING ACTIVITY 16-11-2024

A camel they say is a horse designed by a committee. Although these words especially applies to decision making, I think it in a way describes how people in my workplace approach cleaning. This is the case with the stairs in my workplace. People are more concerned about the welfare of their shops that they neglect the stairs from which they walk to it, they rather liter it with wastes and dirts.

As I walked up the stairs this morning, I thought to myself, "How would these stairs feel if it were a living thing?". So I decided to clean it up before heading home after I'm done with work for the day..

After work, I picked up my broom and packer and headed to the stairs. As I was doing this work, people passing by commended my efforts with few words. I wish they learn to keep the stairs clean too.
