The Unsung Heroes of High-Risk Professions

In our bid to survive as humans, we delve into different jobs just so we can earn enough money to get a better life for both us and our loved ones, which is a great thing to do, but not all jobs come easily; in fact, there are some that literally put your life on the line just so you can make a living, and in this article I'll be taking a look into some of the world's most dangerous jobs and talking briefly on each one.

Talking about the world's most dangerous jobs, one of those that usually comes to the mind of many is that of a soldiers or military personnel. These guys literally put their lives on the line in the war as they combat with enemies of the nation in a crossfire that involves shooting and explosions that sometimes end up leading to traumatizing injuries or death.

Another on the list of such types of jobs is closely knitted with the military personnel, and they're referred to as bomb disposal technicians or explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) specialists. This is another dangerous job that puts the lives of those involved at risk. I mean, while everyone is running away from bombs and explosives, these guys literally walk up to them and try to diffuse them; a wrong action during such will literally lead to their death or a fatal injury for them.

The oil rig workers is one job I heard usually pays heavily, and I was thinking of being able to earn such a kind of amount, but then when I looked at the risk involved, I just couldn't go on with my desire, as they stay in the middle of the ocean, in a place that's prone to fire, equipment malfunction, explosion, and the likes, and in a situation when such happens, they don't even really have anywhere to run to because they're surrounded by the sea.

Still on the discussion of the world's most dangerous jobs, I think we can all agree that electrical power line installers and repairers are also in the field of highly dangerous jobs. We all know how dangerous electricity can be when it comes in contact with our body within the house, not to mention high-tension power lines that hold higher capacity of electricity. These guys working in this field are exposed to dangers such as falls, electrocution, and the like.

Last but not least on the world's most dangerous jobs that will be talked about today are the firefighters; almost similar to the bomb disposal technician, they also walk towards where danger lies while others are running away from it. This time around the danger is fire, and they're exposed to dangers such as heat, smoke, fire, and even hazardous materials that might fall on them during such a period.

Overall, there are people who're still passionate about these jobs and love them, but then it'll be ideal if several safety precautions are put in place, alongside helpful gear, vests, and others that'll help safeguard their lives and prevent them from danger more as they indulge in their jobs that make life more pleasant for others, and my shout-out goes to each and everyone in those fields or similar ones.

These are really great jobs that require us to appreciate them but we don't appreciate these workers enough. They put their lives at risk just to make us comfortable, if they survive fine, if they don't we just mourn them and move on. I think we should appreciate the more.

Hello there, Sir Vick. People, particularly parents, go the extra mile just to put food on the table. When it comes to the most dangerous jobs, the military is the first on my list. They literally risk their lives to protect the country.

Thanks for participating.

That's correct my brother, the military personnel way of the arms is one that's super dangerous and we should learn to appreciate them for their sacrifices.

Thanks for stopping by.
