Colorfull Butterfly on White Flowers

If you have ever tried to photograph a butterfly, you know that it takes a lot of patience.

Butterflies constantly fly from one place to another and we rarely get a good photo. When one of them finally sits down and opens its wings, and you try to put this beauty in focus, it either folds its wings, or flies away!

Butterflies are very sensitive creatures. They sense your approach and take off. But if you sit in a clearing and wait patiently and calmly, then minutes later, one of them may land on a flower or blade of grass next to you.

Be patient and wait for the butterflies, not chase them :)
