Picturesque corner of Kuban is the City garden
Have a nice day! Today I want to share with you my photos of trees and picturesque corners of our region. Have you ever been to Kuban? We are very warm and almost always Sunny. The weather spoils everyone with warm days :-)
Many weekends citizens spend in parks, which are very much in Krasnodar. This is our City garden. There is always something to do here.
It has been more than 150 years since this place was an observation post and an observation tower, from which the Kuban watched the surrounding area.
The city garden is the first Kuban Park, which is still considered a unique natural and historical landmark. Here is an incredibly beautiful nature and full of entertainment not only for children, but also for adults.
Not far from the huge picturesque pond with swans is a snow-white arch, near which both newlyweds and numerous guests of the Kuban capital like to take photos.
From here, valuable representatives of fruit trees that were previously grown in this nursery spread throughout the region. Some of the pitch today in the gardens growing Apple trees, Ben Davis, Napoleon cherry, pear and plum Russel Hungarian.
And some majestic oaks, which can be found here for more than 600 years.
Anyone who reads my posts and looks at photos already knows that our city is very well-groomed and green.
And the Park itself was founded in 1848, after the decree of Prince Vorontsov on the creation of parks in the largest cities of southern Russia. Then this place was called "Military garden" and there was a hotbed of different kinds of fruit trees, shrubs and useful plants.
This is a true work of Park art. This garden is spread over two levels: beautiful lawns, intricate flowerbeds, fountains with fish, and walking paths that have attracted numerous visitors for almost 180 years.
Here, in addition to the slender beauties of firs, majestic cypresses and pines, many other trees grow.
After arriving at the Kuban famous at the time the grower-researcher James Bichelmeyer here a lot has changed. This man for 6 years turned the huge territory of the Park into a real blooming garden.
- From the Nikitsky Botanical garden were brought wagons with vines, seedlings of ornamental and fruit trees. In the Park appeared: noble Laurel, Catalpa, pyramid cypress, sycamore blossomed, oleander and biota.
Even today you can find here a Tulip tree, Japanese Sophora and black walnut...
For children, all alleys are decorated with interesting pencils and sports equipment.
They have fun and play sports on the Sunny lawns of our Park.
And someone is already tired and resting in the shade :-)
Ripples are always waiting for cute ponies and such cute horses...
And sometimes you can listen to the performances of famous creative groups...
Come and you in our hospitable land, get a great pleasure.
And the colors are apparently invisible here... True, not all have bloomed yet, but spring is already coming :-)
And now a question for Amateur gardeners: guess what these plants are and what they are called?
Thank you for Your attention and visit. I appreciate Your feedback and comments. I wish you luck and have a nice day!
