Keep Your Team Alive and Your Opponents Frustrated with Consistent Healing & Amazing Battle | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge
Hello everyone, Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. I hope everything is going well in your life and you are having a wonderful day. In this post, I will be talking about tthe benefits of healing friendly Monsters to the team and more, as well as an amazing battle. I hope it will be useful for you.
Healing abilities are very useful in almost all battles and can keep Monsters in your team alive longer than expected. I can say that healing abilities are the ones I use the most because they are really useful and help me a lot in winning many battles, even the hardest ones. Consistent healing will keep your team alive longer while also frustrateing and exhausting your opponents, which is why I love healing abilities so much.
Units with the Heal Ability restore a third of max health of their own health each round, rounded down.
Units with the Tank Heal Ability restore a third of max health of the Unit in the first position each round, rounded down.
Units with the Triage Ability heal the friendly back-line Unit that has taken the most damage by a third of max health, rounded down. Minimum is 2.
Monsters with the Corrupted Healing Ability restore 70% of max health to allied units each round, rounded down. However, each time a unit is healed, its max health is reduced by 1.
As I said above, these four abilities are the ones I use the most in battles and they are really useful. Meanwhile, Affliction ability has a chance to prevent healing, Stun ability has a chance to prevent Healing abilities from working.
When a Unit with the Affliction Ability hits a target, it has a 50% chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed.
When a Unit with Stun Ability hits a target, there is a 50% chance that the target will skip its next turn.
So a Monster that is applied to affliction cannot heal. A Stunned Monster skips its next turn, meaning it cannot attack and use its abilities. I use both of these abilities very often, but it's annoying to see them on the opposing team. However, both can be cleansed with the Cleanse ability. Cleanse ability removes all negative effects on the unit in the first position on the friendly team.
Let's see how useful healing abilities are in a battle. And I believe the battle below will be a good example of this.
- Armored Up: All units gain +2 armor.
According to the ruleset of the battle, all Monsters in this battle will have an extra +2 armor. Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the recent five battles of the opposing player, I saw that they had very powerful cards, so I knew that this battle would be very difficult for me, so I needed a better strategy to win the battle. First of all, I knew that Monsters with healing abilities would help my team a lot, so I included Tank Heal Ability and Triage Ability in my lineup.
I can say that I was very surprised that the opposing player didn't have any healing abilities in their lineup, because using healing abilities is always very useful in a battle like this.
The battle lasted 7 rounds and while all the Monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, all the Monsters on my team managed to survive. The most interesting thing is that at the end of the battle, the health of 4 Monsters on my team was the same as when they started the battle, while 2 Monsters had more health than when they started the battle. They appeared to have not taken any damage in 7 rounds, which clearly shows how useful healing abilities are in battles. This is why I love healing abilities so much and use them a lot in battles. Remember, consistent healing will keep your team alive and frustrate your opponent, so I highly recommend considering including them in your lineup in battles. I also recommend watching the battle on the Battle Link so you can see how useful the healing abilities are.
