Third Year of NaJoPoMo...Will This Be The Year I Journal Daily?

avatar

I am the resident NaJoPoMo reluctant journal writer. In the first year of National Journal Post Month, I shared pics and stories about the many journals I had laying around the house mostly unused. In the second year of NaJoPoMo I Was more open to the idea of journaling. With the help of some fun, fancy, and colorful calligraphy pens there was childlike joy and wonder at my journaling attempts. I did not complete the challenge or really get into journal writing beyond my fun scribbling in the early part of the month.

However, this is a new year and a new NaJoPoMo challenge. So, I'm here to see how much further I can move the journaling needle forward. I have a month that is jam packed with activities. So the time to leisurely journal doesn't exist. Yet, even as reluctant as I am I still feel attracted to this challenge.

I'm making no promises to myself or to you. How long will I be an active participant in the challenge? No idea. Will I finally begin to embrace journaling in my life? Doubtful, but I am interested to discover what will come from this year's challenge. Best of luck to you and us all.

You're here, you posted, and you wrote! Way to go! I just came from my journal subreddit and there are alot of daily journal writers that don't fill a page. Many write a few phrases, draw a picture or write a few words that captured their day. So no pressure. A little every day. Good Luck!
